Take profit, reinvest, repeat. Hard to understand for you i guess.
Marketcycle and so on, not the time to explain it to you tbh (and not in the mood cause you act like a jerk)

Crypto is really hard to predict though, so for many people the most profitable strategy is to hold. When Bitcoin hit $5000 in October a lot of traders suggested that it had reached its top and advised people to sell and buy when the price was lower. Three months later the price was $20,000

This is is the old story:

JOE KENNEDY, a famous rich guy in his day, exited the stock market in timely fashion after a shoeshine boy gave him some stock tips. He figured that when the shoeshine boys have tips, the market is too popular for its own good, a theory also advanced by Bernard Baruch, another vested interest who described the scene before the big Crash:

"Taxi drivers told you what to buy. The shoeshine boy could give you a summary of the day's financial news as he worked with rag and polish. An old beggar who regularly patrolled the street in front of my office now gave me tips and, I suppose, spent the money I and others gave him in the market. My cook had a brokerage account and followed the ticker closely. Her paper profits were quickly blown away in the gale of 1929."

    This is my story:

When bitcoin was at 17.000 USD, this truck driver friend comes to me, knowing I'm an ex-banker and says: "Man, I've heard China is making a new crypto, how can I get hold of it?...... "
So I said to myself: "Man, if this isn't a sign that one should sell, I don't know what is"

I wish I have passed this info to a couple of my friends. They've bought at 1.000 and they've both currnently have about 15.000 of profit each with a little bit of trading. Had I told them this story, they would have probably sold at almost the peak.

    Again, history repeats itslef.

All it takes to be a crypto expert is just repeating a few common phrases that you have read on Facebook.

1.) "Weak hands sell" Actually traders buy and sell, that is what trading is, buying and selling. The word "Hodl" was invented by clowns who have fuck all knowledge of trading. They have to hold as their knowledge is nil.

2.) (Spoken in the voice of a fucking moron) "Ye u sel awl yer coinz mor fer me cheeper. " Yes kid you go ahead and pick up my shit, it's what you will be doing for the rest of your life.

3.) "Lambo". Just a wild fantasy displaying you "get rich quick" mentality. It basically proves how fucking dumb you are. You are just to dumb to see it.

4.) "Moon". As above but these people tend to wear their clothes back to front and Velcro trainers on the wrong feet.

Why crypto can't be future and will be not future? Because goverments can't let you not paying taxes. If you are adult, not some kiddo, especialy in Europe, you know that taxes are necessary for countries development.
With crypto currency, gathering taxes would generate huge cost by tracking blockchain transactions, many holes like alt coin mixers, etc. Goverments cannot let you to hide money.
So it will be marginal, some goverments just tolerate because taking some little control, but for sure, they are going to eliminate crypto before next bubble and buzz.

Also crypto users killed it. It's in use only for speculation, not for real shopping. Guy in Poland tried to open foodtruck with crypto currency - waiting 30 minutes for payment, even lightening network :D

    Lul, "explain it to me"?
Please, do explain how "Take profit, reinvest, repeat. " will work with crypto if everyone is doing it and your claim is everyone of the crypto believers is to profit (since it IS the future, no?), where will the profit come from - thin air I guess.

I only act like a jerk to mentally challenged concepts and their proponents so there you have it.

    That is a horrible analogy.

Me and my ancestors were not investing our money into 90% of the food on this world therefore we have no desire to taste it.

If we were investing large amounts of our money you better believe that we would atleast have an idea what it taste like.

Just like crypto, it’s all smoke and mirrors, no one has any idea on what they’re investing in except “it cost a lot, I’ll make a return!”.

Spoken like a true cryptoguru, no arguments or understanding of the full picture and quoting their gambling luck or fantasies as a fact in their support. Thanks for illustrating mickyfu's point from above, I have no qualms looking stupid to someone like you at all.

Firstly, grouping all cryptocurrencies together and thinking they're all the same is narrow-minded. Secondly, calling any of the major cryptos ponzi schemes shows you have absolutely no idea what a ponzi scheme is, or how cryptocurrencies function, even on the most basic level.

A ponzi scheme requires constant investments from new victims in order to pay the original investors and keep it running. Otherwise it collapses because it can't maintain the insanely high rate of promised return.

None of the major cryptos match any of those specifics. No original investor in Bitcoin is promised anything, certainly not a certain % of return. And Bitcoin does not require investments to function. It's a form of digital currency, not an investment promise. There is no central body controlling it and making promises to people.

In fact, it's quite possible the furthest thing from a ponzi scheme. It's a decentralized digital currency. I don't see how it matches anything ponzi related

Just admit it. You don't make shit. You are sat on a heap of shit that is 10 times less than when you bought it. You can act Mr pro Lambo man all you like. However sadly for you, your words on an internet forum will not change the balance of your bank account. No, unfortunately no matter how much you lay out the Facebook spiel, you will still be sat on your worthless shitty coins that are never going to increase to the value that you bought them at.

I'm going to request that we rename the Crypto subforum to "Let's Talk About Crypto and Get Emotional as Opposed to Discussing Pros, Cons, Numbers and Charts".

Not sure that will fit on anything but the amount of emotion that arises when a crypto thread gets going is Ripley's Believe it Not worthy.
