I've been lurking on this forum for a while and I have to say I'm a bit surprised at the lack of discussion about trading bots. From my experience, they're great at reducing lost profit in bear markets and can be readjusted to make gains when price is rising. You can also find a bot that does all of that automatically. The best thing I find about a bot is the math/algorithm stays the same whether you invest $100, $1000 or $100,000.

I'd go as far as saying a trading bot can earn you an incredible amount of passive income with very little maintenance. Of course, market conditions, volume and which pairs you trade will ultimately dictate that.

Besides myself, anybody else using trading bots?

I have been reading some about auto-trading bots.
Until now I have not seen any (public) bots that made better profits than manual trading.
There is one major technical difficulty in trading bots: having a good trading strategy.
I am pretty sure there exist "good" trading bots, but they are in private hands.

I find bots are most useful when the trader is away for long periods of time and you still desire to make profit. Or when you can't be bothered to trade for a few weeks (IE long vacations) only remotely checking if everything is running smoothly.

For reference, I use a bot that compares B&H (Buying and Holding) vs Bot % day to day. Depending on the market there are times where the bot significantly outperforms Buying and Holding. Of course nothing beats a knowledgeable day trader, still I do believe there is a huge market for bots right now. The average person is not good at day trading, but they do like passive income without too much hassle.

I`ve using one of the best trading bots out there right now, and that`s myself :D:D

Always asked me if these really work..

Can someone confirm that gunbot is a good one?

Whats the price for a bot + support to set it up?

I want to mention that for novices or people who don't want to bothered with installing cumbersome software, keeping a server/computer running 24/7 I find "cloud trading bots" has a great alternative. I personally have had some success with those as well. I'm not going to openly shill any websites/specific bots. I've found cloud based trading bots are the easiest for novices.
I never understood how those cloud trading bots worked, is it worth it for more advanced users? If so, which one would you recommend?

We are not going to get into a "which one would you recommend" in this thread and should I see that via PM it won't be a pleasant experience for anyone.

Google is your vehicle and due diligence is your friend.

As cryptocurrencies are essentially unregulated, they've drawn in a lot of firms with unscrupulous backgrounds in market manipulation.
