I run some crypto ads for my clients. Today I saw that I can not set up in Audience keywords like bitcoin, ethereum, cryptocurrency, coinbase and anything related to crypto. What happened? Facebook bans again Crypto related ads? It is possible to target possible clients without this keywords?

Could be an error. have you tried on multiple accounts?

Yes, I tried from multiple accounts and multiple countries...same results. If I type "Bitcoin" appears no results. Yesterday everything was ok. I searched everywhere for some news related to a possible ban but cant find anything.

Yeah I have experienced this before, it seems like a weird thing affecting only those interests, although, after running other adsets with different interests, I could later on select those without issues.

I think that audience should be customers with interests related to money. Direct targeting doesn't work

Meta's been banning crypto related ads for past 2 years, you shoulda switch to financial funnels without mentioning crypto e.g.

"Digital currency" is the interest you can target. They changed it.

Some keywords like digital money, making money, name of some famous crypto wallet... I think will work

Due to some restriction or new rule in the country you are using or where the users are targetted, this might be occuring.

meta doesn't allow crypto ads anymore. so there's no mistake here

Yeah, at this time Meta still isn't keen on advertising anything crypto related. Although it might be worth keeping a close eye on future developments since there's no telling when they would decide to reverse that decision and it is reasonable to assume they will. It's just a matter of when.
