TD Cowen analysts warn that the U.S. crypto market structure bill could be delayed until after the midterm elections. The bill aims to clarify which digital assets are securities and divide oversight between the SEC and CFTC.
Political wrangling, procedural disputes, and election pressures are cited as reasons for the hold-up. For crypto projects and investors, it means regulatory clarity may take longer than expected, more uncertainty in the short term.

I hear they want a way to track every little guy their crypto . What you think about crypto seizure by govt?

Please, let's not make this political.

Makes sense, no one in Washington wants to push controversial legislation right before midterms.
The delay isn’t surprising though. The crypto bill affects too many agencies and power structures (SEC, CFTC, Treasury, etc.), so political gridlock was inevitable.
In the short term it keeps the U.S. market in a grey zone, which ironically benefits offshore exchanges and DeFi projects that don’t have to play by U.S. rules.

Long term, regulatory clarity will help legitimize the space, but I doubt we’ll see real movement before late 2025.

Considering the election cycle, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say no one wants to touch something as politically contentious as crypto right before the vote. Delay's not great for market confidence, but this is pretty par at this point. Unless some clear lines are drawn between SEC and CFTC oversight, I'd wager most projects will just continue operating in that grey zone.

sniping works only with filters, not speed. check tradeable true, mint and freeze revoked, lp lock months, buy tax under 10, liq over 20k. we added jito tips and 0.3s checks for a client, rug hits down 34%
