Hello Crypto experts,

I am been struggling with a crypto issue for the past few weeks.

I am fairly new to IM and every road eventually leads to BTC/Crypto payments. I also added some money in my wallet but the transaction charges are just too much. Even if I want to send $2, the wallet charges me f*king $5 for transfer + transaction fee.

I wasted $100 and only got $60 worth of goodies due to these cumbersome fee.

How do you guys deal with it? Any remedy / alternative for my situation?

I have heard a little about private wallets but I am skeptical of these. any suggestions?

Thanks in advance :)

If you hold Bitcoin in an Electrum wallet (free) or Trezor/Ledger (paid) you can choose your fee, low, economy, normal, high depending on how much fee you want to pay and how quickly you want your transaction processed.

Backup the wallet. You will receive like 10 words. Get those words and that is the backup of your wallet.

Coinbase Pro is free to change crypto into fiat and vice versa for free. Different changes have different prices. I personally use dogecoin but ethereum for me has been the cheapest. The fees are worth it if you invest in something good, you'll get your money back
