Hey folks,

Over the last months I’ve seen multiple situations where assets on both DEX and exchange platforms became “inaccessible” — pending transactions, internal holds, or just frozen balances after system changes.

I’m curious how you deal with such cases.
Do you usually rely on support, internal sync tools, or alternative recovery methods?

From my experience, sometimes the issue isn’t technical — it’s related to account flags or internal security triggers that temporarily lock operations.
In a few cases, access was successfully restored after specific steps.

Also, how important is it for you personally to maintain smooth crypto exchange and transfer operations?
For many, that’s a key part of workflow — whether for reinvestment, redistribution, or just maintaining liquidity.

Would be great if others could share their experience — what worked, what didn’t, and how you approached restoring functionality when assets got stuck.

Is much stricter now with all the requirements on those exchanges. A good rule is never keep on the exchange more money that you can lose at any point. I see binance for example even warm users when they try to send to some adress that may be flagged so is really easy to get your funds blocked and explain etc to can unfreze the funds. Usually the support is the best alternative to try to recover

These days CEXs are really strict, especially with transaction reviews. Thanks for such a detailed response. Based on my personal experience, I’ve handled similar cases through AML investigators — a very effective method, probably one of the best. Have you or anyone you know dealt with something like that personally?

Also, avoid using suspicious and shady exchanges. Always do your own research about an exchange before you send significant money to it.

It's happened to me several times, just like it has to all of us who deal with crypto. In my case, most of the time it's not a technical glitch, but rather the exchange flagging my account for risk checks or reviews. Most of the time, the orders are released automatically a couple of hours later, but very rarely have I had to contact tech support for a solution.

But in cases of problems with DEXs, I think it's usually just network congestion, not a stuck transaction. Centralized exchanges are much more complicated because you don't have access to what's happening internally.

If you see that a lot of time passes, then the usual thing to do is open a ticket. If they ask you to verify your identity again, then obviously do it, and I wouldn't make any other transactions until the problem with the frozen one is resolved.

Going through support is complicated and sometimes even pointless. I could tell you what worked for me when dealing with asset restrictions on exchanges — how long ago did it happen in your case?We can get in touch wherever it's convenient for you, if you're interested.
