Hello guys,

So here is the thing.

I'm starting e-commerce (dropshipping), but things are a bit iffy for me.
I'm lacking funds to pay my ads and suppliers, since products i'm offering are quite expensive.
Time for the money to come from payment platform to my bank accounts is about 7/10 days.

I also would like to launch 1/2 new websites '(and more later) so that i have more sources of income. But not enough money at the moment to do it.
In addition, my advertising budget is quite low at the moment (15$/day), since i'm starting from almost nothing.

I was thinking about ways to make things better, and was thinking about crowdfunding.
This could help me a lot, being able to pay suppliers right after orders, make my ads budget way bigger, develop SEO, optimise stuffs, and be able to see things coming.

Do you think it is something possible? Would 30/40k$ be reachable?
What would be the ideal crowdfunding platform to do so?

I'm just starting looking at crowd, so any advice, share of experience, comments will be way appreciated!

No and no.

Your "business plan" as you describe it is missing some of the main elements when someone is going to invest.

A resume of success in the same or similar field is one.

The other is skin in the game... you'll need to put up to get funded by anyone that has half a brain.

A lack of history in the industry in which you are looking to build is a killer as the first thing an investor looks at is your resume.

Not being able to fund past the insignificant level, as you have described above, is another turn off for an investor as if you are not able to participate in the venture on a financial level to any measurable degree.

If your supplier (or another supplier in the same niche) has an affiliate program, start with that. Once you have enough daily sales to justify switching to dropshipping, you should be bringing in enough money that an outside investment won't be necessary.

Hi guys
Thanks for answers.
I see so many shitty projects getting funded, I don't understand why I wouldnt be able to convince anybody to fund me??..

Also, it doesnt look like everybody has to bring prooves of what he can do etc...

Can't I make something like "social" funding?
