Creating Video Sitemaps for embeded YouTube videos?

I have been searching around and have not been able to find any answers on if it is possible to create a video sitemap for youtube videos embedded on your site. There was one article I found on fourblogger but that method does not seem to work anymore, or I just screwed it up.

I guess the problem is finding the player location for youtube. Any suggestions?
