Hi,
I recently managed to find a good expired domain which was previously used by a software vendor (cd, music player related). It has back links from sites like cnet, windowspedia etc.
What I did?
I built a Technology blog on it a week ago and did a 301 redirected all the pages (which have backlinks) to the homepage. Added the site to Webmastrs tools and now it shows that around 275 links are pointing at the homepage.
The site is indexed and no issues popped up!
Am I being paranoid that the big G would smell something fishy and drop a penalty? Would 275 links pointing at the homepage cause any issues. These are not spammy links and the anchor profile is very clean!
Kindly suggest @royserpa and other biggies!
Thanks
