creating accounts using antidetect

I’ve read several threads about creating Instagram accounts, and it seems like most people agree that signing up from a mobile device is safer for the account. The problem is, I don’t have that many phones.
So I’m planning to use Hidemyacc to create IG accounts. Instead of using a regular desktop profile, I’m thinking of setting the fingerprint to match an iPhone 16 with Safari as the browser. If I register accounts using that kind of setup, will they be safer compared to using a standard desktop browser profile? Also, I’m planning to buy temporary email (just to get the code) to register the IG account. But I’m also considering using an OTP service to register with a phone number. Still a bit unsure which one is better. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Also, if I’m using that kind of mobile fingerprint, what type of proxy should I pair it with? Mobile proxy or just a residential one?

I have heard accounts made on actual devices are much better, it's not a good idea to use an anti detect browser and try to fake being a mobile device

Masking as an iPhone (Safari) is safer than a desktop profile. Use real OTP numbers for verification, they’re more reliable than temp emails.

Have you verified that claim yourself?
Maybe in your case desktop accounts with regular mobile proxy will be enough?
If you're using anti-detect browser to "hide the fact you're on desktop", you're creating a bad solution to a problem that doesn't exist, realistically creating a new problem, confusing yourself. That's a complete headfuck.

Anti-detect is a must, specially in today's world.

Platform are way too advanced, they can track anything from your device and any kind of suspicious activity.

If you are looking for multi-accounts.

Anti-detect browsers and dedicated/mobile proxies are a must.

Yes, mobile-like fingerprints (iPhone + Safari) are generally safer than standard desktop setups. And if you can afford it, phone-based registration (OTP) is more stable long-term than temp email.

Faking a mobile setup like iPhone 16 with Safari through antidetect can help make the accounts look more legit, especially if done right with clean IPs. Between email and phone, SMS verification usually gives stronger trust signals, but it depends on the quality of the phone number provider. If you're scaling, mixing both might be safer.

Yeah, using a mobile-like fingerprint (like iPhone with Safari) on Hidemyacc can help it mimics real user behavior better than standard desktop, which IG tends to flag faster. Just make sure the fingerprint is consistent across sessions (same device, IP, browser setup).
As for email vs phone: phone-verified accounts (especially with real SIMs or good OTP services) are more stable long term. Temp emails work, but those accounts usually have a shorter lifespan and higher risk of checkpoint.
If you’re creating accounts to warm and keep, go with mobile fingerprint + real mobile proxy + phone verification. That combo usually gives the best trust score.

mobile fingerprint + OTP service + mobile proxy seems more reliable

But it is safer to use actual device, I don’t know if you have heard of a new anti-detect solution - cloud phones, very affordable, you can take a look ;)

Try using Nomix to create multiple accounts. I just saw a thread about it. I haven’t tried it yet.

One counterintuitive fact is that, due to Instagram’s unusual risk control policies, my clients have found that using rotating residential proxies is actually more effective at bypassing restrictions

Yeah, spoofing a mobile fingerprint like iPhone+Safari can help make the account creation look more natural, especially if you pair it with a good mobile proxy. Tools like MultiloginPro or MarketerBrowser work well for this, and if you're scaling up, using PVACreator with phone verification is usually more stable than temp emails.

Using mobile fingerprints (like iPhone + Safari) on antidetect tools can reduce risk, especially during registration. Temporary email works for scale, but phone numbers (even OTP services) usually offer better trust scores. It’s good to test both and monitor results.

There are agencies that use Anti-detect to create the accounts. Just note that you have to use a device API to help replicate the fingerprints as if it was being done on a real device.

Why dont you just prefer buying accounts? You will save a lot of time, energy and money

Yeah, using an iPhone 16 + Safari fingerprint is a solid move—it looks more natural to IG, and mimics typical mobile behavior. As for temp email vs. OTP, OTP tied to a phone number is better if you want accounts that stick around longer.

I think this is trial and error. It’s really tricky to manage multiple Instagram accounts, they have a heavy detection method. Where I differ is that it might be more productive to create different types of emails. Don’t focus on just one, they could easily be detected if all accounts use the same service.
