creating a site like blogger.com ?

I tried to search the forum withouth any luck. How much do you think it will cost me to create a site like blogger.com or similar? And would it be easy to translate it into another language?

Exact like blogger - few $B/Millions.

To make a website like blogger will be too costly, beside that why do you want to invest on something that is already there.
If you have a high budget it is better for you to invest on something new and innovative that the market doesn't have at the moment.
Fill a gap, solve a problem. Only like this you can be successful.

Thanks for your feedback. The site does not have to be like blogger.com the main features I want is:
- user can signup for an account and make a blog
- I place the ads on the users blogs

Think thats pretty much it. I live in a small country so its not that many providers. I will create several niche blogs and it would be nice with a yourblog.XX
with XX being my own country's TLD.

Depending on many factors, how many you expect to sign up, how many pictures will you let them upload(gb per users) and etc
