I see that you have been working hard but not getting a lot of success right now. However, you seem to be on the right track. Just don't get bogged down and keep going at it. I would also suggest you to keep an offline track of what steps you followed and what all went wrong in detail. That will definitely help you later on when you try to start another project similar to his or even completely different. Good luck! :)

I'm using this to manually spin my content and I'm very thorough with it. A paragraph in an hour, this will take me some time. Hopefully, this will be the only article I would need for a very long long long time.

Update: With this much unique content, I'm just going to skim over my other articles so that I have a decent tier one ready links. The thorough spinning of my other articles will be done later on when I need more articles.

It even gives you the spin combination which I think would be the number of times you could use this article until it loses its effectiveness.

Update Update: Just done spinning my first article, I'm going to spin another tomorrow and combine that one with this to obtain something like 90-100% unique content. I'd just do that and start posting on web 2.0s. I hope I can finish another one tomorrow, schedules are so random.

Update Update Update: So proud of my work, every article is readable and make sense 100%, there are grammatical errors but none that ginger or grammarly can't solve.

Submitting now my articles to web 2.0 sites. I guess I'm going for 40% keyword, 30% lsi, 30% generic terms and a little bit of naked url. I'd do a quick research on the optimum order later, I just want my backlinks up.

Did a quick research on my competitors and it's all quite normal except for the number one spot which has astronomically high social signals compared to the other pages. All in the thousands, I'm going to have to find a way to compete with that.

Day 6 of 2014

I've done my on-page according to recommendations from searchmetrics, I've funneled my visitors on how I would like it to be as well as had my first tiers up. The new contents haven't been indexed yet, google master still has January 3's version of my site. I have been crawled since yesterday though but still no changes.

All in all, I have 10 web 2.0 and 2 article directories. My GSA SER's demo days has finally ended so there goes my easy ticket into building tier 2 backlinks. Anyone want to sponsor me? I'm kidding (semi srs). Aside from that, I have those social signals that I have to deal with, I'm still thinking whether to spend on those or should I just spend on it my best video. I'm biased towards the videos though.

What I'm currently doing:
-Building backlinks to my tier ones.
-Stealing backlinks from my competitors.
-Researching on YouTube Ranking Strategies.

Going to test that out soon, currently with Rack Checker Ace and has been satisfied, not the most attractive template but they get things done. Plus it's free for 1000 keywords! Thank you for the support.:cool:


Update: Holy crap! Someone just shot up to rank number 1 with 15k backlinks all pointing to the domain. Seems like a fiverr job to me. It's a blogspot blog though so that person is somewhat safe. Currently downloading his backlink profile and I'll run it up at a PR checker. Gotta steal those high link juice pages you know. Aside from building backlinks right now, there's not much I can do. Going to open up another project along.

Wasn't able to work on anything today since my laptop went crazy on me. It can't see my wifi when my other devices could. Had to troubleshoot it all night! Thankfully I have the next 5 days to solely concentrate on my site as I have no classes.

Goddamnit! Google won't reindex/update my site. Webmaster Tool still shows January 3's version of my site which doesn't have any content! I guess having a 1 page sites doesn't really attract spiders from crawling your site. This gives me more incentive to change my site into a more silo type of page which is really attracting me right now since it just makes sense plus I have plans on expanding into this particular niche. Hopefully this would benefit me in the long run.

YouTube
Videos are starting to rank for their respective terms and expectedly my best video is ranking for the most terms. Going to let it mature by a week and have it rank for more terms first just to have some data for measurement then I'll buy retention views and some social signals to it.

Other Ventures
Reading up on various topics about internet marketing and ranking factors. I'm learning a lot and going to implement most of these ideas on the following days. I had a couple of ideas also, wrote them on a note and would get back on them once I rank this thing on google.
 
Best of luck OP. can you please elaborate your tactics in dealing youtube videos in details? i am also planning to start similar thing in a day or two.

Remade my whole site accordingly. I was very productive with it and have also added 2 more articles on it. It should now start ranking if I guess things right.

Videos going up the SERPs and a are being ranked on more keywords. Still not hitting the first page though. I'm going to boost it when Sunday comes.

Today was uneventful mostly. I just read on how to write better content due credit to be given to copyblogger. Then started on working on my new landing page. Other than that, I started building backlinks to my web 2.0 properties again. Fixed the layout also, it should be mostly leak free and points to the pages that I want to, specifically my CPA landing pages. If only I had GSA for my usage.

Woke up to find out that my site started to rank in its term! Managed to snuck up to the 46 spot for my main keyword! Good thing I didn't push the button yet to buy an SEO package out of frustration. Let's see how fast and far I could push this thing on the SERPS before really buying anything. Aside from that, I'm going to stall my plans of buying views yet for the video. Seems like there's lot of commotion happening on youtube with all the update they are rolling out. Going to wait and have it stabilize first and then I'm giving my videos a push.

Well that was awesome.. Not! I peaked at 24th spot yesterday for my main keyword but I'm completely gone from the SERPs right now. Down by 244 ranks. Hopefully, things are just bouncing because of the new content that I'm posting as well as the keyword densities that are changing.

I've spent the better half of my day yesterday trying to silo my site. It's not perfect but I think I got my goal which is link juice flow. Essentially every blog post's juice only goes to four places, the next article in the category, the home page, the hardest keyword in the category and the landing page. The latest article would then loop around to the oldest article.

Added 2 more articles, landing page still isn't done. I'm going to finish that thing right now. Going to spin some of my contents also and post them on my web 2.0 properties.

Yeah, I do hope that it's just SERP dancing. On a side note, I've seen that some on my backlinks were indexed but my page on webmaster tool haven't been updated yet.

It's been 5 days since I last posted on this journey. Nonetheless, I wasn't fooling around and was working hard with whatever time I could devote to IM.

So here's what I've done for the past few days.
-Bought a VPS, set up tools and they're running 24/7 now. Points building up on different services as well as backlinks are being made.
-I accidentaly deleted my Wordpress SQL database (stupid) and had to rebuild it. Luckily, google has indexed my posts and just search for its cache. I'm in the process of rebuilding it and is now on 50%. It's better now also.
-The 3 videos I uploaded are now all on the second page of YouTube. No on-youtube promotion was done on them except with 20 likes and 300 views each. However, I am building backlinks to them with PR2+ and 100 max OBL and they've been climbing up. No results on google still though.
-Made 7 more articles to it.

Here's what I'm going to do this weekend.
-Rebuild the blog to 100%
-Start my YouTube Campaign
-Buy a backlinks package from SEOClerks
-Make a reselling service
-Build more quality backlinks to my money site.
-Start researching for my next niche.

Income
Just had 2 dollars in downloads, considering that I have never achieved page one ranking I think I'm getting some good targetted traffic. 40 impressions to the site on average everyday.

Let's Crash and Burn.. I just bought a spam service package that would send in 268,300 backlinks into my site in a tiered fashion. Let's Crash and Burn.. I would probably get deindexed in a month or two, I wouldn't worry about that. Give me a month on top of my niche and I'd make it back by 10 folds. Let's Crash and Burn.. The domain name sucks anyways for an authority site as it was too niche. I'd just drop the domain after and start building an authority site after, got about 25 articles written already.

Rankings so far for the site:
2nd Largest Keyword: 79th
5th Largest Keyword: 72th

And I'm just 5 hours in on the blast that would take about 2 weeks to complete. [/TD]

My rankings for my YouTube videos has been climbing dramatically. This is on the same niche as my site is.

Video 1: Rank 13 on 2nd Largest Keyword, 25th on Largest Keyword.
Video 2: Rank 15 on Target Keyword, 11th on Long Tail.
Video 3: Rank 26 on Target Keyword.

No paid service was used in those. I just sent views to them till they broke 301+ views and has been sending in 4 likes, subscribers and favorites a day.

Video 4: Unlisted, waiting to reach 301+ views and will list it immediately. If the method still works, I hope that I'll be on the top spot.

Video 5 and onwards. These are just 'article videos' where I turned my articles into videos using article video robot. 45 seconds is all I need. Haven't uploaded a single thing yet, waiting to finish my AE download and make an intro video for it.[/TD]

I just made some sales copy for fiverr. I centered around gigs that I could automate or do very easily. Slow and steady, fiverr doesn't mean much to me until I reach Level 1/2 where I could add add-ons for my gigs. From there, I'd launch an eCommerce that would integrate with Fiverr. Until then, I'll take Fiverr easily and just let the orders come in if there would be. I'm planning to list 20 gigs, I should get lucky sometimes right?

Here's what I found out! Backlinks do give you the top ranking in both Google AND YOUTUBE. All my videos have been climbing up the ranks on YouTube ever since I've been sending them high quality links. They rank the highest with the keywords I anchor them with. Sounds interesting. I'm going to do more testing.
