Ok, so I'm working right now, doing a ton of CL stuff as usual, and I just got this idea. I don't know if I'll ever put it to use, and even if I do, not many of you would, so I can share it.
I'll keep it simple.
Brainstorm a name and type of business. Any business will do, but make sure it seems like a profitable business. A dry cleaner isn't a good choice, but something like a jewelry store would work.
Make up a fictional name for your new fake company, and register the .com domain for it.
Throw up a BS website that has a "pretty" main page, and just a simple contact page. Don't go overboard, this is just a front.
Now, what you do is find a friend, family member, etc. with a newer car that is nice. From experience, even shit like newer Accords or Altimas will do, of course a BMW or something might be even better.
Get a large white piece of poster board from Wal Mart or your local paper store, and in huge bold letters, write your domain name on it for your business.
Put the posterboard next to the car and take pictures of the car, making sure the poster board can be seen in each pic.
Now go create yourself some CL ads that go something like this
Subject: Bad Credit? How about a FREE car!
Body: Hey *the city name here*!
We all know the economy is in shambles right now, and it isn't just large banks and auto manufacturers feeling the blow.
With all of the poor folks that have been getting turned upside down and shaken for every penny in their pockets lately, whether it be a car loan they couldn't keep up with, or their house getting foreclosed on, we have decided to do something about it.
In an effort to put a smile back on the face of a debt ridden American, *your biz name here* has decided to hold a raffle!
If you have bad credit, really bad credit, or horrible credit, you have a shot at winning!
ONLY those of you with BAD credit have a shot, because in order to enter your name in the raffle, you MUST have BAD CREDIT!!
Finally, it's your turn to get something that isn't a bill!
The prize?
This BEAUTIFUL 2008 Honda Accord EX!!
Please email us to apply for the contest, we are only allowing entries for the next 7 days!"
Ok, its shoddy, but I've been writing ads all day, so I'm a bit burned out.
Basically, when they email you, you are going to tell them that they have to grab a free credit report (through your affiliate link stupid!) and bring it by your business to enter the contest.
Of course, they won't come by the business until they have their report, and when they have their report and come by, your business won't be there.
You will get a flood of emails, and probably quite a few flagged ads as well, but this can bring in some serious cash at $20 per lead.
Don't ask questions, I'm too busy, and I'll probably never look in this thread again
