Attending a University and scouting for the least utilized PCs has left me w/quite a substantial stash w/out any extra cost, and after reviewing the hardware I've found that each PC is packing a quad core 3GHz processor. The GPU's are just Intel HD4600 so I doubt that will come in handy, unless I'm wrong and please correct me if I am. Now after doing some research I've come to understand that one of the best alt coins to mine w/a CPU is Monero, but I could be wrong. My problem is calculating the potential output of these PC's, and after looking over a few sites w/online calculators I find it hard to believe that each one can produce 100 coins in one hour so I must be doing something wrong w/the calculators. If anyone could give me a calculation, and perhaps even some pointers on superior coins to mine w/a CPU it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and yes the PC's are left on over night and yes I understand the risks.

Are you aware that if you get caught doing that you could be expelled? I would not risk my education for a few cents a day

You won't make anything CPU mining.

Now GPU mining is a different story.

It is worth it if you know what you are doing, i'm the master of mining!

He should mine BTC only try nicehash, read and study everything. Good luck

If I was helpful please donate here :o:17amdqYrHxfQVJSWPV3GT47nfPdDosWxu6

it will take much time or u get lucky to get 50 coins in one go

Get yourself an ASIC Miner like the Antminer U3 (under $50) and it'll mine like using dozens of GPUs (much, much more effective than using CPUs).

Don't worry about using the free power though, most do so anyway.

Not only will you be expelled but depending on the jurisdiction you could face fines and jail time over it.
