CPM increased abnormally

You should try rotating creatives more often and narrowing audiences a bit. I’m also using Advantage+ placements and excluding underperforming ones after a few days.

This problem started few months ago, copying ad campaign from 1 campaign that works well but the results are opposite, increasing CPM almost failed. copy campaign and start with small budget, do you see there is always 1 in 10 campaigns that have good results?

Yes I created and cloned a lot of ads, CPM dropped but sometimes still increased after 1-2 days

Facebook often updates new features continuously, at different times when the number of advertisers increases, this also leads to increased CPM.

Test new creatives more often and trim audiences that don’t convert. I’ve also noticed lower CPMs when running short campaigns with small budgets and refreshing ads weekly.

CPM often rises due to high competition or audience saturation using new creatives, refining targeting and adjusting bids helps reduce costs while maintaining quality

CPMs have been rising lately. This is often related to seasonal competition or bidding pressure, even if your ad copy and targeting remain the same. It may be helpful to refresh your ad copy, test with a wider audience, and optimize for higher quality engagement signals.

I have also set up multiple campaigns and the CPM has changed significantly

A sudden increase in CPM can be due to increased competition, too narrow a target, or repetitive ad copy. To reduce CPM while maintaining traffic quality, you can:
Expand your target or re-adjust it.
Change your ad copy frequently.
Use automatic placement to optimize Meta costs.
Control ad frequency to avoid viewer fatigue.
