Just thought of a mad simple idea and I am sure I am wrong somewhere since it seems way too easy.

- You can buy traffic on the internet for as low as $1 per 1000 UV.
- Some CPM network pay $3++ CPM

$3 (revenue) - $1 (expense) = $2 profit per 1000 views.

Am I wrong here? Would such idea work? Do CPM ad network track conversions of somekind?

In theory it looks good. These types of methods work short term. Over time you always get caught however if you can get away with a good amount of money then why not.

Be aware that most CPM networks won't count all the traffic you send them, so the profit may not be so marvelous :)

I thought of doing this long time ago. I might as well try this next month and test it. I'll be posting my result here.

What about shaving?A little extension of this for all of you: in the late days of AC and early days of Yahoo Voices or whatever it is called now, I bought some ****** traffic (cheapest one ofc) and just sent it to articles but throttled (no more than 100 or so views per day). It worked without ban, raised my clout level and all bought views were counted. Just a little method that still might work for some of you.

One thing though: that account already had published articles and I was extra careful and not greedy at all.

Which networks pay purely for impressions and not clicks?

Sorry to bump a already bumped thread but WHY can't you get clicks? Change cpc and website focus or start a website on the side that is capable of getting clicks ...

Wow, that is the most original idea I have ever seen.

You are on your way to a million dollars perday.

NOT

it depends on the networks, but there might be a violation of TOS with some.

you can get traffic pretty cheap these days. It would be worth investigating what you could get for impressions. I don't think anyone is paying $3 cpm, or at least, none that I know of.

try tribalfusion, valueclickmedia
They Pay upto $5 but very very difficult to get in.Might give a try if u have a good website.
