Its not working for me either. Maybe it is the new WP.
Can anyone help? I've tried everything.
Thanks
I have it working on WP 3.1
If you're creating a new blog, make sure you have at least 1 post already
-make sure you set your permalinks to: /%postname%/
Upload CPA-2 plugin to blog.
-Activate
-Go to Settings and open CPA-2
-Set magic numbers (ex 12345,must be more than 4 digits)
-Add affiliate url(s)- and save settings
To see it in action you need to use the full url, including the magic number like this: ?mn=12345 , for example:
hxxp://www.your-blog.com/blog-post-name/?mn=12345 ( of course, replace " hxxp" with "http" )
it should redirect to your CPA offer (affiliate url you added in CPA-2 panel )
Your CPA network will see this as referral:
hxxp://www.your-blog.com/blog-post-name/ So if someone just goes to your regular post ,
in above example: hxxp://www.your-blog.com/blog-post-name/
it wont do any redirecting since the magic number ?mn=12345 is not there at the end of the url.
Hope this helps
Don't ask me , I use it for completely different situationdoes this really work???? are the CPA companys really unable to see were the traffic comes from
Is it just me or is the redirector really slow? I'm using dreamhost shared hosting, set up a wp site. When my link redirects it stays loading for a few seconds from myblog.com/post/?mn=12345 to myblog.com/post to afflink.com/268912
This is really annoying because some of the visitors actually went to my blog from looking at the address bar during the redirect, so now I know it's killing my conversions. I know they could press the back button and see the same thing but I'm positive that they are looking at the address bar. So is it my host thats making this so slow? If so, do I need a VPS?
I have tried it on a VPS and its not much better, maybe a second faster, but yeah.. showing the blog url in the address bar for 3-4 seconds will surely catch the attention of most users.I have seen some users click my link 5,6,7 times and im guessing they spot the blog url.Would be great if this could be fixed.
In the CPAredirector page, put this http://www.whatismyreferrer.com/ instead of your affiliate link to test. Than just go to yoururl.com/?mn=2222 and you will go to whatismyfereer. you will see where you came from
The website you're talking about has been shutting down, any reference?
