CPA-Redirector 2

Its not working for me either. Maybe it is the new WP.

Can anyone help? I've tried everything.

Thanks

I have it working on WP 3.1

If you're creating a new blog, make sure you have at least 1 post already
-make sure you set your permalinks to: /%postname%/
Upload CPA-2 plugin to blog.
-Activate

-Go to Settings and open CPA-2
-Set magic numbers (ex 12345,must be more than 4 digits)
-Add affiliate url(s)- and save settings

To see it in action you need to use the full url, including the magic number like this: ?mn=12345 , for example:

hxxp://www.your-blog.com/blog-post-name/?mn=12345 ( of course, replace " hxxp" with "http" )

it should redirect to your CPA offer (affiliate url you added in CPA-2 panel )
Your CPA network will see this as referral:
hxxp://www.your-blog.com/blog-post-name/ So if someone just goes to your regular post ,
in above example: hxxp://www.your-blog.com/blog-post-name/
it wont do any redirecting since the magic number ?mn=12345 is not there at the end of the url.
Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for breaking it down step by step freeport but the problem is I have followed all of this exactly and still no joy.

Wait a second...I'm using it on pages, don't tell me thats whats messed it up?

EDIT: I'm a clown. I was using a plugin for wp landing pages and CPAR only works with posts! Wish I had known that before designing my page.

Thanks again

does this really work???? are the CPA companys really unable to see were the traffic comes from

Don't ask me , I use it for completely different situation
Someone else please answer.
Also is it safe to use this redirect with adsense traffic?
thanks!

I finally got cpa redirector to work as described like this:

hxxp://ww w .your-blog.c om/blog-post-name/?mn=123456

But is there anyway I can fake the referrer to just hxxp ://ww w.your-blog.co m/

In other words, can I fake it so that its just my blog's home page instead of the blog post?

Is it just me or is the redirector really slow? I'm using dreamhost shared hosting, set up a wp site. When my link redirects it stays loading for a few seconds from myblog.com/post/?mn=12345 to myblog.com/post to afflink.com/268912

This is really annoying because some of the visitors actually went to my blog from looking at the address bar during the redirect, so now I know it's killing my conversions. I know they could press the back button and see the same thing but I'm positive that they are looking at the address bar. So is it my host thats making this so slow? If so, do I need a VPS?

I have tried it on a VPS and its not much better, maybe a second faster, but yeah.. showing the blog url in the address bar for 3-4 seconds will surely catch the attention of most users.I have seen some users click my link 5,6,7 times and im guessing they spot the blog url.Would be great if this could be fixed.

Ah so it's not just me. Yeah 3-4 seconds is a LONG time for a page to load. Mine loads at 4-5. Damn, one second is not much of an improvement, but I don't have many other options either. Thanks for the reply.

Does anyone else have any insight or experience this?

Can anyone help me, ive been trying to get this to work all day
I have cparedirector2.1 STANDALONE version,
and I opened up the php and edited
$cpa_offer_url =www.cpaoffer.com

is that all I have to do , because when I go to www.mysite.com or mysite.com/index.php it just says

'Your Fake Landing Page'

what am I missing here, could someone give me the dumbed down version of this?

magic number can be a 1 digit number no pbl.

And you have to twist it a little to be accepted by adsense

Ok guys, I managed to get it working,
but say for instance if I'm promoting (or 'spamming') my cpa link through this on wordpress,
and for instance i send t his link out

http://blackboxer.com/firstpost/?mn=123456
but when I check it with ipinfo.info, my refferer still says
http://blackboxer.com/firstpost/

My problem is, what if the site im 'advertising' on says
http://www.blackboxer.com is a spammer/posts affiliate links etc
so even though my cpa company will not see their particular offer on my website (cause refferer doesnt show /?mn=123456) they will type my site into google and see the complaints
My site still shows up as the referrer, and not the page
is there any good work around for this, for my site to remain referrer free?

I hope that made sense,

I don't really want to use anonym.to because it makes my link look shady, I would rather a work around or a better suggestion as to how to fix it
Thanks and rep will be given

To the people asking if this works with iframes: I tested it with an iframe and it works 100% for me. No leaking, complete tracking. Does not break the frame.
