anyways, it's all good jdog - you are trying to give me sound advice and a "just make sure you cover your tracks" wouldnt of gotten to me. just send your affiliate links through an https connection and all referrers will be blank for the affiliate network.

example:

http://www.yourillegalcontentsite.com - > https://yourhttpsdomain.com -> http://affiliatenetwork.com/youraffiliatelink

this is a 100% bullet proof method to ALWAYS blank the referrer. so it doenst matter where the traffic comes from - can be a site with any content. referrer faking is always a little risky since its never 100% accurate.

just be aware that some affiliate networks like commission junction for example do not allow blank referrer traffice and you might lose your commission.

If you are honest with your AM they will direct you in the right way. Asking for forgiveness once will work. Over and over and they will ban you.

Blanking referrer is a good idea. But you will risk being banned if you don't stay under the radar.

Be honest with the networks you sign up with, theyll be straight up with you and tell you if they allow it or not. Don't be afraid of the answer theyll give you. From my experience try networks like blamads, rarmedia, and cpa007 . You'll probably get a better chance running illegal content with them.

Fake the referrer to some whitehat site it would be safest option for you.
