CPA is SCAM!?

Been looking for a good e-mail submit offer to promote.. Problem is that I am not in the US, so I can't really look at the offers before promoting them.

I had a US friend look through some offers for me, and he reported the same thing about all of them.. Whatever they promise, free ipad, free $500 gift card, it does require you to buy something in the end before you can receive your "gift"..

Have you found a cpa offer on these networks that are legit, that actually gives the user what they promise? Or do you just promote and don't give a shit about what you're promoting?

Seen so many scams since I started researching internet marketing, and I've had it.. Bought a couple of WSO's promising big bucks on CPA and I know how to do it now, but if the only method to make money is to fool people into believing they are getting something and they end up not getting it, I don't wanna play this game anymore..

If I only had a legit offer I would give it a go with the methods I've just learned and promote it, but there seems to be no honesty at all and the CPA-networks doesn't seem to give a shit about moral in business..

Am I wrong?

Personally I just promote and I don't give a damn .
All my traffic is mature enough to know if they are going to receive an Ipad or not
In the worst case , there is always the unsubscribe me button

well if you find an offer that really send you an ipad for putting in an email then let me know... i wont promote it, but i have many email accounts i wouldn't mind 100 ipads sitting around my house.

If they complete through the path and fill out the required silver, gold, and platinum offers you will receive a gift that is stated. But by the end you would have spend around the same amount on those offers esp if you dont cancel the re-bill on some of them.

But that doesnt matter, promote them. Good money if you can send the traffic dont worry about the people filling them out.

That's a big headed comment. Obviously you know very little about CPA and it's also quite obvious your not really an affiliate...

If morals are you go-to , get out of the IM-game your just wasting your time.

CPA is a blessing.

It allows people whose skill set consists of little more than sitting in front of their computer typing to make tens of thousands of dollars connecting buyers and sellers.

What's with this lack of appreciation for all the work that others have done for you just so you can divert some traffic to their websites?

In the big scheme of things we as individual affiliates are adding very little value, so rather than bitch and moan appreciate the opportunities we've been given and crush it.

Just because you can't think of a way to promote an offer in a way that tells the consumer exactly what they have to do and still achieve conversions doesn't mean CPA sucks. It means you don't take the time to think and be creative. That's more of a personal problem than and industry issue.

Also, you're focusing too much on e-mail submits. There are way more CPA offers out there. Don't settle for $1.30 cash flow.

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous topics I've seen in a while. There are plenty of WHITEHAT ways of making money online with cpa and there's a whole ton more offers than email submits. Oh and if you didn't know what white hat is, I'm guessing you don't, it means legit/moral methods.

If you think it's all a scam then why are you here? No one cares to hear your noobie nonsense.

cpa= dirty marketers

cpa is 95% dirty. It's not a 'scam' per say.

There's 3 main types of cpa.

email submits which are really just to build lists and promote. This isn't hugely bad as all people are going to get is some offers in their inbox.

surveys which are more lead generation than list building. Sometimes they're specific types of leads for companies and other times it's just more detailed list building, ie, name, email, address, information. The data is also used for market research too.

The 3rd main type is trial offers, which are 100% scams. teeth whitening, make money at home, lose weight. All that nonsense. None of that really works and they're almost impossible to cancel once you give your cc details other than cancelling the card.


cpa as a whole is quite a dirty business that adds no value and only serves to get data for companies to sell to consumers at best and at worst just get money for nothing(trials).

If you're interested in pursuing a legitimate line of business then you want to get involved in pps. pay per sale is rarely a scam other than some of the work at home stuff, but they're not as bad as the trial offers as people pay a one off $50-$500 fee.

pps can be anything from selling clothes to hosting and you'll get more repeat business with it making it better for long-term income, but generally slower to build up and less profit.

cpa is the quick dirty cash.

pps is less profitable but longer term with recurring income.

hahaha... If you are on Blackhat World and you are concerned that CPA might not be appropriate, then I think you may want to locate another forum....

CPA for me is nothing more than a lead generation methodology where companies are willing to spend some dollars upfront to acquire qualified leads to whom they can later promote/market their products.

As already mentioned by Hex, there are various ways to do it.

The offer is crafted depending of type of data the sponsor company needs to actually qualify a lead.

Thats the reason you see Email Zip Submit offers where the sponsor is just interested to do email marketing to the leads and they are only interested in knowing Name and Email and zip details so that they can geo-target the promotion if needed.

And you also see Credit loan offers or Mortgage offers, health offers(not pills) where the leads are used by investment companies or companies selling insurance to sell health insurance or credit loans.

So overall CPA just adds in a new way to aquire qualified leads for promotion of your business and is format of Digital marketing.

NOT A SCAM, except those re-bills ofc which suck.

And CPA is here to stay and you can build your business around it with guarantee and feel secure.

I couldn't agree more.. People think very weird nowadays. They just grab words "CPA", "Rich" ->

Conclusion: "I'll get rich with that CPA!!"

Result = Fail.

yes, you are correct.

zip/email submits are basically scams.

but our job is just to send traffic to them.

I have no problem profiting off of anyone who believes they can get a free laptop just by submitting their email address. I stick with offers that are leads without credit card submits to convert (they usually don't work anyway), so it's not costing them anything more than their time.
