Its that time of year! HOLIDAYS

Idk bout yall but im going all in this year.. If you are not out on Black Friday with a stack of flyers or business cards.. OR SHOPPING?! Idk what you are doing with your life :)


Sharing methods leading up too BF... basically everything i plan to implement locally.


The first one ive come up with is Gamestop flyers.. and i plan to drop these at 2 different Shopping Malls. Converted well in walmart parking lot and shopping centers before. I expect this to do well... Whos in?? Im doing 2,500 flyers Gamestop.


Updating with more methods as i jot them down and brainstorm!!

You surely can promote Walmart giftcards like 2 days before BF, and I'm sure it would convert great (Or try with Ikea, Best Buy, Subway etc).
 
You want something to be viral?

*Try to make the business cards on thick stock with the one front being a giftcard to the store and the back being your advertisement. Feel free to hand them out or drop them all around the store.

*Banners near exit ramps

*You could also promote my site for me that I sent you last night ;)

*Dress up and act as a rep and give out flyers to exiting/entering customers.
 
I think I might give something like this a shot. I would go for flyers that look like a gift card with simple text on the back directing the user to the landing page

When you say you plan to 'drop' them. Do you mean physically hand them off to people walking by?
 
Please, give us more insight! Thick stock of flyer, understood, offer on back understood, giftcard....? You're actually going to buy a giftcard to put in the front of your flyer and hand out to people. Sounds like alot of damn money being wasted. Let me tell you what I did this summer. Maybe I can implement something like that this season.

The university that my girlfriend attends has a day where everyone shows there spirit and they have bands blah blah, like 10-20k show up. Maybe not that many, that's not the point. What I did was make a website, theipadcontest.com. On the landing page I included a video that some chick from fiverr read and right on the front I had the user input their name and email. That info was then inputted into my database. Then, they went to page 2. On this page were all my offers, simple links they could click on and sign up. The incentive was in completing these offers they earned "tickets" and these tickets added themselves to a drawing. The more tickets, the higher your chances of winning the Ipad. Of course, I was a scumbag, their was no Ipad to be won. I then went to "spirit day" at my girlfriends university and passed out fliers. It was long the flyer. Like a ticket for an event. On it it said, "The Ipad Contest .com Your free ipad awaits. When we say free, we mean free." The back of it I left white because of expenses.

I found that explaining the fake ticket system was pointless and people didn't believe it when I talked to them. So then I switched it up. I walked up to them and handed them the ticket then told them "there you go that's your ticket, just go to the website and it'll explain everything"...the reaction I got was better. They felt special they were getting a special flyer to some obscure special ipad contest.

What I learned was, get out there guys. There's money to be made. Let's actually put some brainwork for this holiday season. Haha, how about we design fliers and exchange them within this thread, I doubt you'll meet another Blackhatter passing the same fliers out. Although that would be cool. I honestly want to do something within this community and since it's offline marketing we can actually share ideas and designs. Who's down?

I think Walmart giftcards is the best in this case.
Cause this is as easy as email submit and this is a gift.
So people love it!

That's a damn good webpage. Did you design it? Remember, unless you have it hosted offshore, make the money and dump the domain because they can sue you for trademark infringement. That's what I did with my Ipad contest. On the flyer, I'd like to make a suggestion:
Change "How is this possible" to something more detailed and enticing:

Ever noticed nowadays the back of receipts carry surveys to earn a reward, such as a free meal? Companies pay big money for your thoughts! This allows us to profit as well!

You're telling the prospect, hey it's not uncommon, also makes the prospect feel important, and also illustrates that they aren't being lied to when you say that you will profit as well. This will definitely increase your conversions.

Another idea that might be really awesome to do. For those who are planning to venture out. Is go to local college campuses, right before their vacation time & hand them out. Have a contest, I did this once. It was eaten up so well. Basically the contest was whoever answered a relatively simple question. You can find on Google and they had to fill the stuff out. Yet they had a small window of time. Worked well.. Might be something to try out.

Willing to help if needed.

It is not a registered trademark for the game. MW3 is actually a trademark relating to something completely else. I will dump it if I get a c&d. However it is just an iframe of the cpa offer I am doing. AM said it was perfectly fine. I will more than likely change that part as well... I had a fiverr gig design it and then I was going to do the edits.

I have a lot of ideas but not sure how well they'll convert.
I wanted to try paying my local newspaper to stick my fliers in every newspaper but who knows how that will convert.

For my landing page I was thinking require them to share it or like it on facebook before they can fill out the offer.

That's actually pretty genius. As I'm new to CPA, what kind of pay do these affiliates give out?
 
I wish Black Friday was bigger in the UK... offline marketing is so cheap!
