How's everyone doing? New to the forum.......definitely a cool site.

Have a couple quick questions.....

If links from spammed sites have nil value then why do the big spammers continue posting well into the 1000s? Is there some hidden value?

What would you consider to be better for SERP? Forum profile links or comment links?
For me, it seems like the forum profiles get the best results. Curious to hear other takes on the subject.

Thanks!!

I would consider testing everythin out myself.

Dont want to be rude, but nobody know the real answer, they can only share their experience.

You can use the search button, there is plenty of case study about linkbuilding, you will for sure find something interesting.

Cheers,

johnny

You're not being rude. It's definitely not an exact science, which makes it more enticing.

1. There is no benefit of posting on spammed sites... Google will devalue your backlinks, you certainly will not get any credit for this.

2. Profile links and comments link carry their own weight. As far as profile links are concerned, if they are password protected the SEs won't be able to crawl them.
In my own opinion, comment links are far better, they give you traffic, exposure and, of course, backlinking credit.
