Could I have a caffeine/nicotine induced heart attack?

Another thing about nicotine. One drop of pure nicotine kills instantly without a trace. It doesn't show up in bloodstream either. Organic tobacco doesn't do this if you want to roll your own. Quitting is the best but rolling your own is better than Russian Roulette with ordinary cigarettes.

lol I'd rather die smoking an ordinary cigarette so atleast my family can go after those big corporations. Not sure how much you can sue zig zags for lol

Everything is an acquired taste, and you can change your tastes. I drink green tea and water all day long now and prefer it. I also have a big stogie in my mouth a lot of the time but rarely light it. It's all juicy and tastes good and keeps the urge to smoke at bay. Just change your tastes.

It' been three years this summer since I quit all the coffee, soda and cigarettes.

Everyone is talking about the heart here, but your kidneys are going to get F$%KED up with that much sugar running through them. Watch out for type 2 diabetes on this plan.

I know this is like a broken record but, Damn Bro cut that shit out! You're just begging for a heart attack, diabetes or god knows what. Just rid yourself of one thing at a time and you'll get through it. I should know I'm going through almost the same thing (sans the energy drinks) :)

I uploaded Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking

If you find yourself in the ICU from all this shit, well just look in the mirror...cuz YOU F*CKED YOURSELF! It's up to you now. You know what you have to do

Keep in mind that it is also possible to die from drinking too much water!

I read the other day that a 30 year old woman died from a heart attack. They said that she had high level of caffeine in her system. They said that she drank 2 gallons of coke every day and smoked 30 cigarettes each day. I drink AT LEAST 2 gallons of dr. pepper each day (if not more) along with 32-48 oz of redbull, and sometimes a 5 hour energy booster, and I smoke 2 full packs of cigarettes daily. (I am 32 years old) I know this is unhealthy, but I never really gave it too much thought until I read that, then I started thinking about my little girls and what they would do without me. Every time I go to the doctor, my blood pressure is a little high, but I never gave that much thought because I always smoke a cigarette right before I go in.

Now I know I should quit, and start living healthier, and I want to do it for my kids (if nothing else) but, dr. pepper and cigarettes are 2 addictions that I have not had the will power to kick yet. Any ideas or methods that really work for kicking a habit?

OMG, why do you do that to yourself. Drink water and drop the smokes dude. And start exercising.

Yes, you are definitely at risk for disease. If not a heart attack or heart disease, then probably diabetes. I have hypoglycemia now which I believe to be induced from years of bad eating in my childhood. So, aside from feeling like I'm going to pass out or die if I don't eat healthy food at regular intervals (you have a lot to look forward to), these are some things that help me. Forgive me if this sounds like a self-help book:

1) Scaring myself by reading books on dieting. I don't follow any extreme plan at this time, but I like to read the books because they motivate me to not eat garbage. Books on the Paleo Diet are good, as well as those about raw food diets.
2) Watching workout dvds rather than going to the gym. The P90x/Insanity tapes really did help for me because it was like taking a class without feeling like everybody was staring at me, or other such source of discomfort. Seeing the super fit people on the tapes motivate me through the workouts. Also, the people that take classes at the gym tend to be pros, and it's discouraging.
3) Have your kids hold you accountable for your goals. Promise them you'll quit, so that they'll be disappointed when you slip

EDIT: Forgot to mention, keep in mind that your body is going to detox when you stop consuming all of these bad substances. It's gonna suck. Prepare for that in advance, and make sure you have a plan to stay on the wagon in the beginning.
