Cost of article curation

Hello,

Lately I've been having thoughts on making a certain website. But I don't want to pay that much for unique articles. I wanted to know what are the prices of article curation? For example I provide a list of articles for freelancers and they must curate them to be unique. How cheap can these services go? Does anyone do things like these on Upwork? I'm thinking I may need hundreds of articles.

Rates vary from writer to writer and are typically determined by the writers reputation, experience, and location. Most often, rates reflect the quality - so keep that in mind.

That much I understand. But it surely must cost less than just plain article writing right?

Rewrite is usually priced the same or even higher than unique content.

Rewrite isn’t much easier than write from scratch. Maybe even harder - because you got two steps - 1. Read the article, 2. Rewrite the article.

That isn't curation, that is rewriting. And really it isn't any cheaper, it is just providing research to a writer.

Also what would be the best option for product review sites? Say I want a large number of different product reviews, and of course I don't actually have any of the products, so I should just rewrite/curate reviews from other sites.

Article curation usually has the same price as unique article writing. So, I suggest that you get someone to write unique articles for you, instead. Writers' rates are per word or per article. Curation is no different. -Micah

Of course an easy way is to find product reviews from different places and rewrite them by keeping the idea/information same. However, there is one more method where you can search for Blog articles related to that products. Generally, experts or critics use to write both pros and cons on their articles while writing a post about any product. You can get the idea from there which you can further make reviews from it creatively!
