Hey all,

I've been always interested in researching on YouTube to find profitable channels. I like to analyze them and see how the channel' owners could make it successful in a short amount of time (normally less than 2 months), that's why I decided to share it here, so instead of spending time to research and analyze, you can just take idea from one of these channels, copy it and apply the strategy I'll explain below to create your own successful YouTube channel.

The purpose of sharing profitable and successful channels here is to see how they work and what algorithm they are following. Also, it will be beneficial to get ideas from them and if you take a closer look, you'll see that they do nothing except than follow a simple straightforward path which lead them to success.

First, I’m going to share 4 algorithm secrets that will help you to get rank higher in YouTube even if your channel is new. If you start doing these things, the YouTube algorithm will recognize your channel, and you’ll start getting the views, subscribers, and can monetize your channel after a while but if you ignore this algorithm, it’s going to be the reason you fail to grow on YouTube.

First, let’s start with an example:

The channel was created in Aug 2024, so it’s pretty new. Let’s check out the stat first:

As you can see, there’s not any long form of videos and the person only post short videos. All videos have been created by AI, so it can be guessed and it just took a few minutes for the channel owner to create those videos.
By publishing ~60 videos in two months (1 video per day), the channel owner could get +700 subscribers and +60k views. That’s great for a channel that started just two months ago.

It’s also in the Indian language so it can target a wide range of Indian people all around the world. The channel has not been monetized by the owner yet and the revenue from short videos is much lower than longer form of videos, however, if the owner uses affiliate marketing or get sponsored videos as part of their monetization method, he can make good money from the channel in the near future.

I just wanted to show you how someone can create a channel and take it from 0 to 60k views in just two months by just publishing AI generated content constantly.

Now I’m going to dive into more details and explain the strategy these channels use and the algorithm they follow to get success in a short amount of time. When you read below algorithm, get back to the above example and you will see that it’s followed well by the channel's owner and that’s what you can do too.

Ok, let's get started. The first thing you need to ensure is that your YouTube channel is set up the right way from the get-go. If you don’t have the settings I’m about to share with you enabled, it’s one of the reasons you’re not getting views.

There are two things you need to set up in any new YouTube channel:

1. Verification: Go to youtube.com/verify. If you don’t see the green check-mark, this is why you’re not getting views. YouTube doesn’t think your channel is verified; they think you’re trying to do something shady, and they won’t push out your content.

2. Channel setup: Make sure your banner, profile image, and description are set up correctly. Keep it short, one to two sentences, and make sure it’s clear and stands out. If you don’t do this right, you’ll struggle to get subscribers.

For proof, let’s look at https://www.youtube.com/@MrBeast/videos. His banner gives a reason to subscribe, has bright visuals, and lists accomplishments that align with his content. YouTube knows exactly who to show his videos to.

3. Feature eligibility: Go to Settings > Channel > Feature Eligibility. Make sure all three options are enabled. Otherwise, you won’t be able to upload long videos, use custom thumbnails, or livestream, which will severely limit your growth. Also, enable advanced features so you can apply for monetization and upload frequently.

4. Keywords: In the “Basic Info” section, you need to add three things:

Your channel name,
Keywords related to your content,
Your competitors.

This helps YouTube understand what your channel is about, who your content is for, and how to categorize it. Now, let’s move on to how people will find your content. There are two ways:

1. Focus on keywords that your target audience is searching for and create content around those. Use the keywords in your title, description, and transcript.

2. Promote your YouTube channel on other platforms, but do it the right way. Don’t spam links. Instead, encourage viewers to search for your channel on YouTube. This sends a strong signal to the algorithm that boosts your reach.

3. The third thing you need to focus on is using the features YouTube is promoting right now. YouTube is pushing Long-form content over 15 minutes, Vertical Lives, and YouTube Shorts. Long videos, especially those over 15 minutes, tend to perform the best. Vertical lives with custom thumbnails and titles, especially if they last over an hour, are one of the best ways for small channels to grow right now.

And then, there’s YouTube Shorts. If you’re not uploading Shorts, you’re missing out on the biggest opportunity to get views and subscribers. Some creators mistakenly say not to post Shorts, but that advice is outdated. Shorts are a game-changer for growth right now.

The next thing to consider is the “topic” of your videos. Topics grow and shrink in popularity. Don’t just copy your competitors' most popular videos because they might not be relevant anymore. Instead, look for what’s currently trending in your niche.

The same principle applies to other niches, whether it's women’s fitness, fashion, or any other topic. Focus on what’s trending now, not what was trending in the past.

Lastly, let’s talk about the “metrics YouTube cares about” for long-form content:

1. A click-through rate over 10%.
2. An average view duration of 50-70%.
3. 75% of viewers still watching after the first 30 seconds.

If you’re hitting these metrics and still not getting views, it’s likely because of your video length or the topic.

For Shorts, the key metrics are:

1. A view-to-swipe ratio of at least 80%.
2. For videos under 30 seconds, an average view duration over 100%.
3. For videos over 31 seconds, an average view duration of at least 80%.

If you’re meeting these metrics and still not growing, either increase the length of your content or focus on more popular topics.

That's it . I hope you’ve found this useful. I will try to update the thread with more real-life examples of YouTube channels that could get significant success so feel free to bookmark the thread and check the latest posts to see analyze of more channels.

Thanks and feel free to share your thoughts below : )

it’s not just about mimicking; you’ve gotta bring your unique spin to the table! Find what works, but also let your personality shine through. Consistency and engagement are key—don’t forget to interact with your audience!

You have some nice ideas mate i will try to do it but my question is , i am from Serbia so am i going to get paid good if i success in it ?

Your title is very beautiful, but your text is awful .
Interesting, I think you liked my another thread, but not this one. Anyway, sorry for that, I try to provide a better content next time : )

Never knew that unverified channels get limited by youtube.
Yea and think about all those channels that never get sub and traffic for this simple reason...

That's the key mate, thanks for sharing.

You're welcome. Yes for sure, YouTube is a world wide platform and you can have audience from all around the world. Actually it does not matter where you are but it's important people from which countries watch your channel. For example T1 audience (People from US, UK, AU, western Europe, etc.) are always more important to channels owners because there are more ads to be shown to audience from these countries so if you have audience from T1 geos, your payout for ads will be always higher compared to T2 and T3 geos.

I try to express my thoughts and this thread looks trash to me especially u have written it with AI and has consistency errors in it. My thoughts for u are if u want to help the community please do a bit better in your methods as these info that u shared above doesn't help anyone and just look like u are trying to do post inflating and promote yourself AND this is not GOOD for you neither community.

Well, thanks but that's your thoughts and if you check this thread, you see that there are other guys who liked the shared content here, so since I'm not your personal writer, I can't make content only for you. I share something that I think will be beneficial for other members and fortunately there are always members who benefit from these guides, so next time when you see something you don't like, simply move on or you can create something more useful and share if with the community. By doing this, you show us what you mean by "quality".
Anyway, you have always your right to share your thoughts here since it's a discussion forum and I'm always have my right to share what I think that can be beneficial for others.

Good luck ;)

P.S. It is better not to insult moderators of the forum by telling that a thread has been created by AI. As far as I know, AI content is not allowed here and BHW staffs have their own tools to check it, so when you say something like that, it means that they don't know what they are doing. That's not good and that's not your job.

there was 1/2 things there i didnt know so thanks for that.
You're more than welcome. I see that you are an old BHW member with lost of experience here, so if feels good when someone likes you find my thread useful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and support. : )

It's better to say thank you, brother, Too much expectation is not good.
Thanks for your support mate, I appreciaite it.
