OK I wanted to ask a question here to the community before emailing my copeac rep about it. I have a business site that's offering jobs. I post jobs on CL and tell them to goto the site and fill out the job application which is actually copeac's "work from home experts" link. I believe I'm funneling good traffic that might actually convert for the offer. (Just like Zen19's post) My question is, is this going to get me banned from copeac? I haven't made much from it at all and I'm not sure if this is incentivising or not, what should I do?

Not allowed because you are spamming CL, but if they are good leads just cover your tracks if you know what i mean.

Jared is spot on - Copeac are VERY strict on CL and iframong etc

OK so if I generate traffic another way I'll be good. Either way it's good experience and that's worth more than the small amount I've made so far. I definitely don't want to lose my copeac account. Posting here was probably dumb I suppose as the ceo of copeac will probably read this, but if he does I want to let him know I'm discontinuing that mode of traffic generation and deleting my CL posts. Back to the forum I go to read up. Any ideas on alternate traffic generation for a job offer type of thing guys?

Another COPEAC question guys. If I have a campaign that's lead based how can I tell if those leads are actually converting for the merchant? Is that what the Number Of Sales field is for on the stats page or is that only for sale based campaigns?

Right I see, but the idea of my campaign is to make it look like a job app, not sell some stupid system which almost no one ever buys. Agreed that you can make a lot more money (I think its $30 per sale for google biz kit) selling the system, but right now I was just trying to get something quick and dirty up and running and for the end user email/name submits are way easy. Of course now I have to take it down but all in good fun I guess and it was good experience. What I wanted to know though is if a user gives their email/name through my link and then later buys the product can I track that on my copeac stats page?

My point being that everyone is doing that google biz kit thing, if you have a page that just says enter your name and email and we'll setup an interview that's a lot better than saying buy this crap then we'll give you a job, see how that works? And if you market crap like that via CL you get your accounts banned fast. Drop the snide attitude man your not a bad ass, you don't know everything, and you wouldn't talk to me like that face to face I guarantee that. I don't want to start a fight here that's not productive, I was simply asking some questions, get the fuck over your self.

Kamek, you may not like wtfpwnge's approach, but I would implore you to take a closer look at his logic. Going after .80 at a time is like trying to launch a race car thats sitting in a huge puddle of oil. Just spinning wheels, my friend, going nowhere.

Why don't you try both methods, and see what makes you more money?

Advertisers and affiliate networks are going to get more pissed about hundreds of bad leads 'I thought I was filling out a job application' than they will about people who actually submitted credit card information. Yeah, the traffic isn't from the ideal (PPC) source, but like pwnge said, which would YOU rather pay for? An email address lead or a lead from someone who just PAID you???

Listen to wtfpwnge. He knows what he's doing. If you are into email submits, you need to have a lot of them, but if you iFrame email submits they convert a lot more than CC offers, so it balances out in a way.

1. I don't think the google biz kit is $2.00 or they wouldn't pay me $30.00 for a sale.
2. Apparently your not thinking about the audience I'm targeting, and I have. People that need jobs don't pay $50 bucks for a pdf, they want a real job.
3. I understand that I'm a newbie, my only gripe was the way you said what you said.
4. If everyone's doing the google biz kit that doesn't mean anything, just that it pays high and people are stupid. I don't have any statistics to back up any claims that it converts well. How ever I do have statistics to back up my claim that people will put in their email/name quickly without much fuss.
5. Is it small time, yes. Am I trying to make a shitload of money off the bat, no. This is just short term to pay some bills and get some decent hosting.

Kamek you are being your own worst enemy right now. Do some homework. The google biz kit IS $2.00 for the initial purchase. (.99 if they try and close the window, it pulls them back in) Have you heard of REBILLS? They will get charged a lot more down the road (7-14 days is normal) if they don't cancel in time.

You are being thick-headed. You should take the advise people on this forum from like wtfpwnge and cherish it, not argue with them. He is trying to help you make you money dude. Would Neil Patrick Harris lie?

No he's not really helping, he's just ridiculing a newbie and thinking he knows everything. My target audience doesn't want to pay for anything right off the bat, they think they're applying for a job then they get spammed with offers from somebody else and might buy them. Either way it doesn't matter I pulled my CL posts and am changing tactics anyway as this stuff will get me banned. I'm not trying to be stubborn I just don't think he was thinking clearly about exactly what I was trying to do. I didn't argue that his method was better money, just that it probably wouldn't convert as well as mine.

I'm so glad that some people don't listen to posters like wtfpwnge. If everyone did, I would have too much competition.

Wrong once again - you should really stop and follow your own advice - start thinking clearly before getting all defensive. I haven't ridiculed you yet. I'd quit on you - im probably wasting my time on this thread - but although you might not take my advice, maybe someone else will

Trust me I happen to know a thing or two about getting traffic to fill out email submits - and I don't use it as a " short term to pay some bills and get some decent hosting " and you shouldn't build your online business that way either.

Just having a mindset of "I need quick cash to pay bills & hosting" isn't going to get you anywhere but banned - you'll end up making some stupid mistake..

It doesn't really take any more work to do things the way I'm suggesting you do them, just to alter your state of thinking. You're a self-proclaimed "newbie", we have all been there - ( including me...believe it or not ) but you are lucky enough to have a great forum here where people will give you all the advice and information you need to be successful. I wish I knew about BHW back when I started, I thought up alot of what I do through hard work, testing, and an active imagination.

Anyways - back to the point you failed @ making:

Correct. People are desperate. They're emailing lots of resumes and cover letters and csv's out - getting lots of no answers, or spam emails. If instead of just offering them the chance @ a resume - you tell them they GET THE JOB...and all they have to pay is some $2.00 fee to get the tools they need to perform the job, then they're alot more likely to convert, and who knows, a few of them might learn a thing or two about internet marketing, and somehow find their way here to this forum - where they'll actually learn to make some money.

good stuff bro. u know ur stuff.
