Convert your Facebook Account into a Fan Page

Recently,

Facebook allowed users to convert there Facebook Account into a Fan Page.

How can we leverage this? My idea would be to target specific niche based people for example Weight Loss, then add them into several accounts.

And then create Fan Page related to the same specific niche and promote offers & products to these targeted people.

These people in your friendlist will convert of as your fans liking the page automatically.

Whats your say on the same?

i just did it, works like a charm.
Remember to change profile name to what u want group name to be, cus u cant change it once its been done.
 
i cant seem to find out how to convert a profile to fanpage,can anyone point me to the right direction,thanks in advance

What about just adding a iFrame to the page? I wish we could do that instead..
 
I had people related to Weight Loss niche in each accounts (Around 3-4k each account)

Went on with a trial and created three accounts into fan pages. Converted two CB Products tonight. Great! Seems this is useful only if you have friends added with there interest or liking...

They are sure to respond if you keep the content on your fan page interesting, useful and can actually apply the strategy of preeminence applied to it (In Short) ;)

Start interacting with your fan base so they dont feel left out and are actually replied with there questions and answers.

Throw away some contests (even fake, with fake accounts as the winners) and offer incentives for helping them out grow there community.

I gave away some really good info products for free - direct link to the PDFs without having them go through the pain of optin in.

As we have this fan base connected with our fan page. They would always be thankful to you for providing awesome links and resources.

Its just being helpful to people on your fan base and making them trust your fan page as a resourceful hub.

Might take time, but atleast what I have realized is. Going the extra mile and caring for your niche always pays off 10X more in future ;)
 
OMFG!!!!

is this real? i have hundreds of accounts with 1k - 5k friends in each that i have not used for months and i thought they where just worthless, so your saying i can make them pages instead, thats fucking crazy if thats true!!

please someone give me great news and tell me this is true
 
Here's my method that I've been using:

As your page, gather pages that might be related to your niche. Then click 'like' on people's comments on the bigger fan page. People will be intrigued and will check out your fanpage, because they get a notification directly in their inbox!

This might get saturated quickly, so use it sparingly!
 
How do youdo this? I have a facebook group with over 15k people that I would love to add to my fanpage!
