Content writer do's and don't

Run-on, fluff-filled sentences, improper usage of punctuations, and using the wrong versions of words (there vs. their, for example) are in my top-three "what to avoid as a writer" list.
 
  • Always check for grammatical errors and plagiarism.
  • Never pad the article to meet a word count target.
  • Be invested in the sector/niche you're writing on.
  • Limit the number of articles you output in a day, avoid burnout.

these are the few I can think of right now.
 
Being too strict about what yoast says about keyword density. I’m guilty of this:oops:
Double Edged Sword because the client might swear by yoast.
 
Keywords are important than everything. If your audience are priority then identify problems and solution statement that will retain your customers.

Do's - Read, Read, Read, Note down things which you can use on writing. and use beautiful sentences and words.
Don't - Grammar mistakes, Keyword stuffing, Spellings mistakes

ADD BUCKET BRIGADES

ADD MORE VARIATION OF KEYWORDS

REMOVE BAD GRAMMAR

MAKE IT MORE CONVERSATIONAL SINCE WE ARE WRITING FOR HUMANS AND NOT FOR SEARCH ENGINES.
 
Just a few things that comes to mind.

Avoid using complex sentences that are long and hard to read.

Inconsistent flow - Topical sentences to supporting sentences need to be concise.

Avoid fluff words and overusing adverbs.

Avoid using passive voice.
 
Grammar. Nobody likes to read something that is grammatically wrong.
 
Fluff!
I hate getting articles that are filled with words that ad no value. Many times I see writers adding filler words to meet a word count instead of further researching the topic to ad value.
