Content That Converts

What is needed is to ensure that the text you compile and layout achieves your objectives which means a minimum conversion ratio higher than 50 percent

The web is beginning to show green shoots of sophistication after years of uncertainty which in some sectors has even caused turbulence making for difficult trading environments and conditions. But now at last in 2012 we are seeing methods and parameters that are very stable and some practices are in full bloom as the ?Set in Stone? way to set up, but they are in the minority most are still very bubbly and constantly changing so when compiling ?Content That Converts? bear in mind that how you set up a sales page last week may not be the way to build text content right now today in real time.

As always what I am going to address is not the A to Z of ?Content That Converts? nor is it a definitive dummies guide! One has to be flexible doing business in real time dynamic environments that means you must be able to move forward with methods or if necessary walk back the process and rework from the start point

KPIs
? No dubious methods that may backfire
? Be alert and always ready for change ? No lazy traits like I have done it this way X times so why change
? If you cannot get ?Content That Converts? right by yourself contact someone on BHW who does know how to help you out

The Impact
When you work with focus and without resorting to any short cuts the end result will be a higher conversion and as a bonus what everyone wants more money in the bank.

The next step is keep this thread going by adding new methodologies ? new twists ? new traits call it what you may but if we here at BHW do not keep abreast of all the action in an ever changing marketplace. Guess what will happen if we lose focus yes you all know about ?Content That Converts? they will not convert and revenue will drop

So that said that is not going to happen here on BHW which is for Winners not Losers

Now let?s see What You Know ? How You Know and tell us all right here on this thread

Thanks for reading right over to all the BHW members to take over this important and essential channel of Internet business ? Post Here Now

Traditionally, the phrase too long; didn't read (abbreviated tl;dr or simply tldr) has ... On the other hand, tl;dr may represent a shorthand acknowledgement of time

Either way is just fine by me, but being the positive guy I am I will assume you referred to 'acknowledgement of time'

Thanks + Rep 4 U :)

Plus we know you will read all the Free Image Hosting Orders you get thanks to your post ;)

Hmm, I never thought of it that way. Write a full several paragraph post which has absolutely no substance and somehow it will convert to sales right! I love this! Thanks for the useful post!

There are some techniques I use,
Organic seo is the mother of all search engine optimization. What we need to do is to search for keywords with very low competition; which is very difficult to find. So we put many different keywords once or twice in our content which have very low or NO searches. We can drive many visitors for such stupid keywords. We do not optimize those low searched keywords as we have many other potential keywords to optimize, but this is a good way to gather traffic from other but relevant keywords.
Thanks.

I have a feeling that keyword research is going to become less important. Instead one may be better off using that time to actually learn about the niche they are in. If you are writing a large amount of quality content for a site, you will rank for more keywords than you probably would have even found through keyword research. As it stands google has to keep improving quality of their results, if results were determined by who could spam the most BS they would lose users very quickly.

Quality content will increase your conversion rates, I believe a big trap for newbies (Myself included) is that we believe traffic is directly equal to conversions. This is not necessarily the case as we are dealing with actual people with questions. This means that a few clicks from a highly targeted ad to a highly targeted page can be more profitable than thousands of clicks to a spam ridden page.

I believe the goal of a good campaign should always be to increase your conversion rate to traffic ratio through testing and implementing new strategies and content. The more actual ROI a site makes the more you can invest in it and other projects.

Good content that converts is hard to find lol. I met a writer who charged 30$ per article for really good content. Will use her once and see how it goes.

How good is good? $30 is a lot to pay for one article. I have been thinking about selling content packages based on tiers. IE A really good article for a target page on your site (Your main money making target). And then a cheaper price for the articles that are there to grab traffic from long tail keywords. The goal being that you want to get "eyes" on a handful of articles as they will be the money makers.

For an authority site quality content is HUGE. I used to have a company that provided me with my sites daily content, but then I started to write it myself and do so every day. I have studied my site over the past 12 months (I started doing 100% of the content a year ago) - visitors stay longer, click over to other pages and read...and eventually submit their credit card :)

There is nothing that can beat top notch quality content. Think about it. Put yourself in your site visitors shoes. If you read crap that was horrible grammar and read like crap what would you do? I know I click "x" and close out.

Quality = well worth it for many reasons (now even more so because of the recent Google changes)

I agree that it's completely worth it to develop legitimate content, it's all about getting people to stay and buy when they land on your page. In the end good content means higher rankings and higher ROI.

What I have been trying to figure out though is the best way to leverage seo/content while funneling traffic to an offer.

Since this is a thread about copy that converts, $30 is a very fair price. This is the old quantity vs. quantity argument. If you're focusing on quantity, you probably don't want to spend $30/each for 100+ articles. But if you're focusing on quality, that $30 invested converts into $3000+ of sales. You can really only measure the return on investment with a page meant to convert, not on the mass produced articles.

For the record, a page of "copy that converts" should sell for $500 or more but that of course depends on the situation. (That's what I used to make for long form sales letters before I stopped writing them)

On the web, the only copy that converts is copy that first engages. Not intimidates, not overwhelms or pushes, and certainly not manipulates. Copy that engages has (1) a lower bounce rate and (2) a higher conversion rate. Every time.

For some specific tips, give readers something to relate to. Not "oh, I know what that's like" but "Hey! That's me!!!" and whenever appropriate... make them laugh. Copy isn't something to skim through, it keeps you hanging on. Word. For. Word.

Of course, sealing the deal with conversions is a little trickier. The price must be a no brainer, especially compared to the value. The action should be simple, but not pushy. Nobody likes feeling backed into a corner.

Compelling content may not always be the content itself. What I mean by this, is that I know this one doctor that has a website and he sells a product. His copywriting is basically non-existent. And he has positioned himself as such an expert that, this combined wit hthe product he sells makes the need for copywriting much less necessary. Could it boost his sales further? sure. Is everyone in IM a doctor? Of course not. But I think that positioning could be more important than copywriting, or at least something equally worth considering.

It's easy to rank for keywords if you will simply write a high volume of words. I'm not talking about nonsense posts or articles, but really rich content that benefits the readers and provides all the answers they need on a given topic.

Easy Thing to think about is who exactly converts you, and what methods do they use? We are always getting converted by people, but sometimes it becomes unconscious, so if you can figure out what is happening to you, it will probably be the same winning factor for others. Someone said something about an article writer charging $30, what are they writing or claiming to make you actually want to try their service? Thats the secret, not the actual article itself.

I pay $7,500 + 4% sales for full page print. you get what you pay for.

high quality and original content is expensive and the best writers is not easy to find.
