Straight from the OP:

The idea is that you "hire" writers on his behalf, he pays you $5 for every 1000 words you deliver, and he pays another $5 for every 1000 words, which goes towards your writer ($5 for you, $5 for your writer)

He pays you every 1st and 16th day of the month via PP invoice, and it's up to you to pay your writer.

When we originally spoke he said that each writer would do around 8,000 words a day. I hired a writer based on that figure and from there my writer provided 2000 words (1900 to be exact) and all was well-and-good.

Then he blocked me after I asked for payment for what was already done...

I'm more annoyed that he's let my writer down. I now have to pay him out of my pocket (at a higher rate than what was originally agreed, as he was writing under the pretense of having 6-8000 words to write every day) and he's not going to get the workload that was promised.
