So google put a penalty on one of my sites as they said it was spam , it was actually one of my sites that had all unique content.

Anyway i have given up on the site and removed the content from the site and it has since been removed from the index.

Being that there is 40 pieces and each cost $5-$10 i dont want to loos there value.

My question is, once its removed from the index is it fine to be used again? or will google still have it in their cache?

Would love anyones input on this.

building quality content and also back links will help you rank again

If you removed the content from the particular site then I see no reason why you could not use it elsewhere.

You might try something like dupefree or copyscape to check and see if your content is still indexed in google.

If your previous site was penalized as spam you may wanna reconsider how you use the content.

Personally I would start a new related site with useful (non-spammy) content and use those 40 articles to generate backlinks through web 2.0 and article directories.

Just my 2 cents though.

I thought as much myself in regards to the 2.0 properties. I would really like to redo the site though as i was ranking very well for a valuable keyword. I think i know why i was penalized, so i will correct that on the new site.

I just was not sure once the content was removed from the index and re-indexed on a new site would it be classed as new content.

I suppose if that does not work then i guess i will remove them again and once de-indexed i will use them for 2.0 properties.
