Content Change: How long before Google updates ranking?

Well the thing about that is that I only started to note rankings 4 days ago and the update was done before then. So I don't have a 'before ranking' to compare it with.

I'm going to make some more changes and so will test if the ranking changes.

Maybe a new cache isn't taken if it's only the <title> that's changed, as nothing in the actual content of the site has changed?

From my observations and reading up on it I believe there are two fundamental algo's at work here... The first algo attempts to crawl popular sites which have a record of fresh content like here for example and with that it's possible for fresh content to rank temporarily and real quickly... For example latest news headlines, trends etc... Obviously social signals play a part in that... The main algo is the true reflection of the SERPs (trust, authority metrics etc) which seems to kick in around 20 days or so which then restores the SERPs... Hence one of the reasons ranking positions can fluctuate on a subtle level - of course ignoring the g's dance which is another subject relating to possible ranking increase or decrease... In sum there is more than one ranking algo as well of course the many algo's relating to penalties etc... Hence you can see why such concepts like burn and churn happen - which reflects G's algo cycles....

I believe it will eventually brings some changes on the rank, at one way or another, depends on the efforts given
for the update. When will it can be seen, it all depends on how G works on this area, because we just based on the
experience and none <except those run it inside Big G> knows the exact routine.

2 weeks and you should notice some movement, that's what I have been experiencing so far.
