With the constant ban waves, I had some conversations with some very involved people in this space.

They seem to think that Meta has handed a lot of responsibility to AI to catch and ban accounts and it's gotten out of hand and is banning even completely legitimate accounts. They won't admit this as they have put significant amounts of money into their AI model and it wouldn't look good.

So seems like in the short-term this is going to continue to happen.

Thoughts?

Yeah, a lot of moderation is AI now.

When platforms scale, automation handles most flags — and it’s not perfect. So yes, legit accounts can get caught in

Not only short-term but also long-term. Ads constantly get rejected and if your set-up on account automation is weak (leaking devices or bad proxies) then you won't get any decent results. Though for some this might be a good sign - more skilled media buyers or account managers will come in bigger demand.

You can still have AI content, however it safer to mention its AI since Meta has the option to display it which helps keep the profile more protected.

yea it's so frustrating that I have just reused old accounts.

Currently, AI is responsible for 95 percent of moderation, so it's no surprise that there are a huge number of blocks, often by mistake. I think this should end soon.
