Conspiracy theory.... leech people

There are people in our lives that feed on our lifeforce. If you're a good man, you already have the good stuff that these people don't have, and they crave it badly, and they'll drag you to their level so they can feed on your energy.

They're aware of their evil nature, but they still do it and the worst part is that they can be ANYONE. They can be your parents, your spouse / wife / husband, or your kids.

As long as these people exist in your life you will never be able to achieve your God-given purpose of doing good and accomplishing yourself, so cut all ties with such people, no matter who they are....

Yes, they exists. And yes, they can harm your motivation to do the right things further. One of the methods I apply when I find a potentially leech person is to put questions in order to find the root of the issue (on short, he/she is right and I have an issue, or should I mind my business and avoid that person?), based on the "5 whys" technique. In the example below, John is a good person and Jane is a toxic one. Here is the example:

1. Why is John feeling drained and unhappy?
   Because Jane constantly demands his time and emotional energy.
2. Why does Jane constantly demand John's time and emotional energy?
   Because she lacks self-sufficiency and relies on John for her emotional well-being.
3. Why does Jane lack self-sufficiency?
   Because she has never developed healthy coping mechanisms or a strong sense of self-worth.
4. Why hasn't Jane developed healthy coping mechanisms or self-worth?
   Because she grew up in an environment that didn't foster emotional intelligence or independence.
5. Why did Jane grow up in such an environment?
   Because her parents also struggled with similar issues, perpetuating a cycle of emotional dependence.

What John can do in this scenario?
1. Leave that person - It's the easiest way to avoid future potentiall (and excalated) issues.
2. Communication - After he found the cause of the issue(s), he will address to Jane and help her finding appropiate help. Big win for both.

while this is a good technique for certain cases, it wouldn't work in the case of leech people, because leech people are leeches by birth. They get born without the divine sparks that make up real human beings: compassion, understanding, the ability to discern and do good, empathy, etc.

The leech people are shallow, but - as mentioned in this video - they're also evil and manipulative (and - sadly - they're very good at this) that - for weak or uneducated / unaware people - they're really hard to spot and handle. I know this because I am one such weak / unaware dude that's being acquainted with several such people that I have always disliked and tried to avoid but could never figure out why I need to avoid them until today.

What you're describing in that 5 whys example relates to codependent people which - a lot of times - can be mistaken for leeches since both types of people share common traits. But codependent people can be fixed and - most of the time - are normal people because they do get born with human qualities, they're just being the victims of circumstance or nefarious systems acting upon them (society, family, working entourage, the government, etc.) So these people can be fixed and brought to normal. But leech people can't! They get born without spiritual and intrinsic components that make up the human being, which is why you shouldn't try to reason, or deal with them. Again, I can name at least 3 such leeches that I am "friends" or acquaintance with, and they can't be reasoned with, so I have 1st hand experience with them. With such people you either have to cut ties with (permanently and completely), or make it obvious to them that you've figured out their nature and once you do this they'll leave you on their own (well, most of them anyway, the ones that refuse to leave you are probably truly evil)...

So yeah, avoid such people at all costs as they live off, and thrive on feeding on your lifeforce / vital energy. In what concerns leech people, your life's purpose is to keep them alive and thriving, which is not good for you as a good man because the more good people are being kept from manifesting their true nature by these parasites the worse life for the rest of the good people is, which is part of the reason for which our society and lives are so miserable....

On short, if a person is a bad wood: Yes: Avoid it as much as you can.

I get what you're saying, but cutting ties with people isn’t always that simple. Sometimes, setting boundaries and distancing yourself emotionally can be a better approach than completely cutting people off—especially when it comes to family. Negative influences are real, but personal growth also comes from learning how to handle them without letting them drain you.

I know, man! One of my family members is such a leech (I won't say who though), so I know it's hard. But it needs to be done, even if you don't agree with this seemingly radical decision yet. As time goes on and you grow old you start to realize what life could have been as a free human, but - worst of all - you will begin to have regrets. The older we grow, the more regrets we have, people who die without regretting anything are truly blessed but such people are so rare.... For the rest of us, we gotta make the right decisions at the right times, no matter how hard it is. We gotta be wise and see the forest through the trees so-to-speak, and permanently freeing yourself from parasites instead of prolonging the illusion is the right thing to do...

been doing this for over 20 years, and sometimes it worked. But - since their nature is to leech - they will keep coming back to feed on you again, and again, and again until you impose the boundaries again, then they'll stop for a short while (days, or maybe weeks if you're lucky) but then they'll come back to feed on you again and the cycle continues until you either cut ties permanently, or one of you dies. There's no compromises to be made that can work between humans and parasites...

yes, and no! But I'm not getting into details on this at the moment as I'm feeling mentally depleted (sometimes I make real mental efforts to try and convey my ideas clearly and without beating around the bush, and this depletes me as English is not my main language).

Anyway, if this works out well for you, great! It means that you're not as weak as I am, so kudos to you

Exactly. After having dealt with a number of clients online, I too believe in this. Some people are just so toxic that they will derive pleasure out of bullying or trampling you. Cut one lose today itself. A client I mean.

This is all 100% truth and the reality of the world. So many individuals I need to cut from my life because they are simply too stupid to understand abstractions that divert from whatever bullshit views they claim to be truth.

It is correct in calling these people leeches, but sometimes it's more than that and a lot more sinister. Sometimes the individuals in question don't necessarily need your life-force to thrive, instead, they are anti-human. Anti-human in the sense that they  hate: reason, rational, construction, understanding, fair play, and respect. How can someone be a human being without acknowledging that the aforementioned are both vital and necessary in human interactions? They sure do understanding what they are doing, no one who commits these actions suffer from cognitive defects that disallow them from understanding, they just choose not to understand. You can sit them down and explain why they are wrong and they would agree logically, they just don't want to. Never let these people and their ideas thrive. Parasites to sensible society.

Sad reality of life but hey, couldn't be me. You can ignore reality but you cannot ignore the consequences of reality.

Also OP, I'm curious, what do you agree with Ayn Rand in regards to her comments on altruism? Kinda ties in here a little bit.

I disagree. This to me sounds like platitudinous nonsense you hear from church because people thought there was some moral high ground in not behaving as the aggressor does under some false representation of A is A.

There are people on Earth who, despite whatever efforts you make, will simply always refuse to understand. Mostly comes from people who are already irrational. Nevermind if they are family or whatever. If you as a human being are unable to play nice or use reason then I don't know how anyone can help you.

This world isn't a Disney movie.
