Considering Ebay

Hi everyone, earlier this year I would go to local retail stores, buy shoes, and flip them on ebay. I made about $100 in a month profit, but this method was labor intensive and it took a long time to find just one or two pairs of shoes. I quit that, and decided to try and buy items on aliexpress and sell them from my house- (not dropshipping) i bought some product, but I just couldn't rank the items for some reason, and the competition wasn't even high- I don't know what I was doing wrong. So I moved onto dropshipping where the past 20 days I've gotten $37 in total sales from 50 listings (pretty bad I'd say)

My question is, should I try to find another product to buy from aliexpress and sell, or is dropshipping a better option?

You take on a lot of risk holding the items in-house. Sounds like you're new to this so you don't want to potentially waste your money when still you're still learning how to find good sellers and list them properly.

Test potential products via dropshipping to see it's a dud or not...no use buying inventory that you can't sell

Once some of your listings start selling consistently THEN you can consider buying bulk from ali.

Why are you wasting money buying items? Drop shopping is much cheaper and gives you the flexibility to see which products will actually selling without investing in them.

Plus it gives you an idea of the products that are actually selling. Then if you want, you can BULK order them from alibaba or other cheaper wholesalers and sell yourself if it ends up being profitable.

Dropshipping is good because you don't need any capital to start with. If you use certain programs you can list 1000's of items per day very easily.
If your Ebay account doesn't have much history start slower though or you will get limited fast.
Then after you have discovered what items are selling use alibaba and source similar items to sell yourself.

I hate eBay. They protect every scammer buyer, and the seller who pays their bills has zero protection.

Can you please indentify the programs which can list thousands of items per day?

hydra lister, crazy lister, turbo lister

just type in ebay mass listing tool on youtube or google and you will find a few

Another excellent tool for eBay is terapeak. I personally love that software. It’s a tad pricey when your just starting out but you will get a good ROI if used correclty.
