Hey guys, I just had a mind-blowing idea.
We all know how annoying it is when someone come to our site... gets interested in a product that we promote through affiliate links, but in the end they leave the site and directly type in the search engine and buy the product. I hate those people.
I want to develop software that can directly load any affiliate link in the background as soon as someone lands on your site, without your visitor having to click on it. It should be inserted directly in the <head> tag.
The tool should use proxy servers that load all content and set client-side cookies. In other words, everything is the same as if your visitor clicked on the link.
If there are people here who understand what I am talking about, let's have a conversation here. Can this be done?
Just to be on the safe side, not looking to hire anyone, this is purely a discussion based topic. I am not sure if this is doable in the first place.
Also, don't PM me if you can do this. Either steal the idea or help out the community.
How did I come up with this? Recently, I created a new Shopify store to test some obscure shitty products. And I got a 90-day paid trial. I know for a fact that this is possible only through their affiliate promotion. And I also know for sure that I never clicked any shopify affiliate links. But I had a cookie in my browser. I did browse a lot of dropshipping blogs while I was researching so I must have picked up a cookie on one of those websites. But how, I have no idea.
