Noooo don't use NoFollow! It will be so obvious if every link is NF except for some magical money site link. Imagine how obvious it would be if numerous sites did the same thing?! Link out and sacrifice the link juice a bit. Don't link to Wikipedia either. Never do that, it's very obvious when there's a Wiki link then one to your site. Link to another site in the niche that is slightly well known but not massively. That's the best I think and looks real.

to be safe can you use buffer sites your pbn links to or will this cause the links to loose juice?
 
Do you use any other links apart from pbn links in order to mix up your backlinks if so what links ?

You can do that but it will cause juice loss.

Some social links, question and answer links etc. A lot of it no-follow, just some easy to get trust links to keep keyword percentages at a healthy percentage since we mostly link with the hard keyword from the pbns.
