HI all,

So in my journey, I have 3 main tools (i use others as well but consider these to be main

Scrapebox - backlink checking ( mainly white hat stuff)
Ultimate Niche Finder - for keyword ideas
Artisteer - to build sites

I wanted to know what experience people have had mainly with UNF. I I found KW, very easy competition analysis, 0 competitor back links (for number 1 site) How accurate/easy have any white hat SEO guys found this tool when it comes to outranking a site in this position?

any thoughts would be appreciated.

thanks

I don't know what to say about Ultimate Niche Finder. Never tried it, but what I use for keywords ideas and analyse them I use squirrly seo. It gives you information about competition, trends and exact search.

You can use a variety of tools to get ideas about keywords, but I wouldn't rely only on software.

After you have filtered your lists of keywords, the best way to go at making your last picks is manually. It's a tedious task but worth it if you are to invest your time and resources.

Hi,

so i wanted to bump this up to get a few more thoughts on UNF

so far i have found that:
you have to use it along side other software, such as SEOmoz (or should i say moz.com) open site explorer to see the back links
it doesnt pick up some Black hat stuff i.e. if a site is a 301, and ranks 1 with 0 backlinks, doesnt pick up the backlinks that the site has.

Great for suggestion as well as when other research has been done then you can make a call on investing in a new site.

Am running a couple of test pages on 'very easy' competition KWs, as soon as i have results i will let people know, but so far liking it, liking the set up and it is super easy to use, a pref over long tail kws, but with this software it is wach to their own, so no neg on LTKW (it is still great, just not for me)

so any other findings anyone....
