Competing for competitors branded keywords

I'm curious to hear your thoughts, clearly it's a challenge to compete on this level..

Has anyone tried going for the actual branded keywords of their competition (for example in the SaaS field)?

They do it in Saas world all the time. You only got to search for a competitor and things come up on the PPC... I go after competitors in the SERPs (organic) and it works well for me. I've written it up on here and I think others have also.

You can also use parasites for this, if your competitor hasn't already

So I went through your messages, can't find write ups on this subject.
Do you mind explaining the strategy to me?
For example would I focus on pages like "MyBrand vs Comp.Brand" or do you have other suggestions?

I focused for e-commerce use but you could do similar for anything really..
