Comment vs Share which is more powerful these days?

Just a quick question whilst doing the rounds on the forums, what is more powerful; A Comment or a Share?

Alot of pages saying comment below to win, others say Share

So which is it?

Both clearly have strength

My best months have been when my stuff gets shared a bunch as it goes on timelines all over the place and that can get shared exponentially.

You'll be seen by lot of new people for free
 
Shares win but comments increase post engagement which increases the reach. I get more shares when I focus on triggering people to comment.
 
It depends.If you are looking for bigger audience you go for share.If you have build a tribe and want them to see more of your post on their feed go for commenting+ reactions :)
 
voting for share, more shares = more chances to get comments anyways
 
Be cautious when doing giveaways and ask for shares. Not allowed by Facebook and if someone reports you, your post will be gone. Happened a few times already to me.
 
Well share gets more reach if it goes viral.
But telling people to share, the post will get banned really easily nowadays
 
Shares will spread your post around facebook, comments can help you understand what peoples think about whatever you r posting .
 
Share would be the answer as if you get shares you also get new comments and so on
 
I'm not sure if I am right but my theory is that commenting will rank the post higher meaning more of your pages audience will be likely to see the posts because of the engagement it's getting which will mean more link clicks.

Sharing Obviously means your page/posts gets exposed to others for free as already stated meaning more likes I guess.
