Comment likes do help in Comment Ranking

Likes and replies will always be prioritized by Facebook to display on the Page as well as prioritized to be displayed on that post because it receives a lot of attention and interaction. What is of interest, Facebook's calculations will display first and appear more often.

This was new to me, I tested sending likes to comments, and it pushed them from the bottom to the top under both 'most relevant' and 'all comments' filters. No geo-targeting needed. Could this trick be used on TikTok or Instagram too? It seems harder to pull off there.
 
Yeah, boosting comment likes definitely pushes them up, I tested it too and saw the same. Great for making certain replies more visible, especially on viral posts. Haven’t seen the same effect on TikTok or IG though, seems harder to influence there. But for FB, it’s a solid tactic if used right.

Yes, comment likes can definetely boost ranking. I have seen on facebook, its a quick way to get more visibility. On Instagram and Tiktok, it helps too but other factors like replies and timing matter more there.

comments in comments I think it's the best thing that platforms aim for to get high ranking in comments, but there's no denying that likes are also a part of it
 
For Facebook: If the number of emojis (likes, loves, haha,...) is from fake accounts, strange accounts (strange to the commenter, meaning between 2 accounts with no or few friends in common), it may be ignored and not counted to be on top.
