Comment activity on FB vs on blog

Each time I make a blog post, I post it on my FB business page as well. I get a lot more comments on FB compared to my blog post itself. I use disqus on my WP blog to manage comments, is there something I could do to increase the comments engagement on the blog itself? Alternately, would using something like FB Comments allow me to surface FB comments against the blog in an automated fashion?

When you direct people from Facebook who are used to commenting on Facebook to a less familiar website (Wordpress) naturally you won't get as many comments directly on the blog. Plus the fact that the comments are buried at the bottom of the post doesn't help much either.

If you want to promote more commenting on the posts I would find a plugin to integrate Facebook commenting for the posts instead of WP default comment system. Removes the step of having to sign up for disqus to comment. Plus when people comment it will show up in their friends newsfeeds resulting in more organic traffic
