College wifi blocked me, need help around it

My college's wifi blocked my pc out of its network because I was downloading torrents. Is there any way around it? I tried ipconfig /release, /renew, but that didn't do anything. I'm on windows 7, any suggestion?

Since your IP is based on the wifi, that won't do much good. Have to find a way to cloak your machine.
 
Just get yourself an ip/mac spoofer:)
 
Probably not a great idea to be doing that on your college wifi...
 
You can get kicked out of college for doing stuff like that. Make sure to be very careful. But yeah, spoof it, and to play it safe, do illegal stuff over at a local coffee shop.
 
like they said, spoof/change your mac address, then use vpn with encryption to download torrents next time, they wont see shit

at my college the same thing happened to me.
And spoofing my MAC was all i needed to do to get back in.

The thing is you probably didn't truly spoof your macs. I'm assuming you are using Windows 7. Windows 7 is a little weird when it comes to spoofing macs the only way i've been able to succefully spoof my mac was to spoof it so the first two characters are 12, thus 12 XX XX XX XX XX.

and next time try to use a vpn when downloading torrents.

So, how does that work, downloading to a VPN? Do you then download from the VPN, rather than directly from the source?
 
Using a VPN is like Your IP > VPN > Shit Site. Datas From Shit Site > VPN > Your IP.

And its all automatic. Buy a VPN, or use a shared one.
 
Search for TMac, free, easy and effective for windows.

On linux?

ifconfig wlan0 up

Change the wlan0 interface accordingly. Have fun!

P.S. Arpspoof + MITM and poof! You're another kid. At Xmas it's more fun! ;)
 
Mate your MAC address is blocked ....
You need to change your MAC address or you will not be able to use WIFI
