Cold Call Script

Jacob,

Your off to a good start.

1. Are you selling locally?
2. ...if so what SEO niche did you pick (looks like restaurants)?
3. what courses have you studied read on cold calling?

Cold calling is a skill set that few have and the best cold callers can make some DECENT $....and they can work any product and any field. Some of them move from Fund raising non-profits, to securities, to insurance, etc.

Its a skill set...and psychology of interaction that makes them good.

Answer the above and i can advise you more from there...

What I found to be successful was using Alan Peasses short call script where your really pushing from an appointment to meet one on one while stilling giving enough information about your service to wet the clients taste buds so to speak. I then tweaked your call script and used it in the appointment. A lot of the key points that you hit on in your call script work wonders in person and seem to carry more weight when your telling a person to their face that this is the amount of serious consumers searching for your business and this is how much you should or will be making. You can practically see the dollar signs in there eyes as you pitch them lol.

This script is good! Always be able to capture the audience with words like Feel felt, so that they hmmm know and agree with what you're trying to say!

Wow very excellent. i want to take this and make it shorter. Excellent thanks

I used to cold call a lot on Wall Street as a financial advisor. The thing to remember is, it really doesn't matter what your script says...it's just kind of about "winning the psychological debate." I know a lot of annoying guys who are able to cold call successfully just because they're able to get it to a point where the person on the other end has nothing left to reject them with...even if the person on the other end isn't in a good mood, they might begrudgingly accept. It's a weird battle that takes place.

It's always great to be as natural as possible, I even know very successful goes who open up cold calls by stating "this is a cold call." Something along the lines of:

"Hi Mr. Adams, my name is...this is actually a cold call, I've been working with a lot of people in (your industry), especially in the (your niche in that industry) and I just wanted to introduce myself to you...etc.

Have you ever used (insert what you're selling here)?

-YES-

Well we actually provide....

-NO-

Well we actually provide a service that....

-I ALREADY USE SOMEBODY FOR THAT-

Well that's exactly why I think we should talk, it never hurts to get a second opinion, at worst you can validate the service you're already using and know you're getting what you want and, if not, perhaps you might find that there's some interest in what I'm providing...etc. etc.

-I'M NOT INTERESTED-

*Insert reason number 5 for using your product*

-I'M REALLY NOT INTERESTED THANKS

Well what would make you interested? -or- If there is one thing about your current service (or current business) you could change, what would it be? -or- What is it about your current service that you like so much?

And then proceed to pick off whatever they say.

In the end, most people will hang up in disgust obviously, but that's cold calling. Persistence wins.
