.CO domains?

That was just what I was thinking when I made a couple of purchases. I didn't go crazy like I have in the past but I did manage to pick up "computercomponents" which has 1,220,000 local monthly searches and "employmentopportunities" which has 550,000 local monthly searches.

We shall see but for only 60 bucks it won't be a huge loss regardless of what happens.

Problem is co.cc domains have been around for a while now and a lot of people recognise them as free domains.

People will start to link .co with them aswell.

i have bought one and will test it...but i think it's a waste of time...

my one hast 3,6mio visitors each month... (the .com version)

i think amazon.co with an automatic affiliate link forwarding to amazon.com would be nice...until they sue you.

i think they are using it instead of bit.ly for internal purpose?so you can trust t.co links?

i just fkin realized..

so what if i get .. carinsurance.co for example.. like there is a chance in the world to rank for those keywords.. lol..

i'll just wait and see if these .co domains rank, and then get some medium competition keywords easily..

Some of them where thought to have the same impact as .co - lets face it, they clearly haven't.

The only reason I put .co ahead of those listed above is because it's one letter off from .com, and there has been some good, legitimate buzz around these. I figured it's better safe than sorry so I've snapped up about 15 high quality .co domains ranging from auto insurance to student loans to mesothelioma.

If they don't pan out I'm down a few hundred dollars USD. If they do...

EDIT: Even if these rank poorly in G/Y/B which there is a good chance of - I'm fairly confident that I can park them with high CTR or sell them for more than I paid. There has to be someone out there who'd be willing to pay more than $30 for carinsurance.co for example.

What are .co domains registration costs anyways? We're selling them for $21/year.

Kevin Ham made a fortune with them through their typos, and it is easier to get keyword domains if that is your thing right now.

I got a few, single words disappeared quickly in the pre register period, but still some good keywords out there..
