CMS migration Bounce Rate Doubled

    My website recently switched CMS. Every since the migration I have seen the bounce rate for all source/medium double from 25% to 50% across the board. Any idea why this is happening? I think it may be a tracking issue in GA but any ideas would be great.

    My guess is that the loading time of your site might have increased, so more visitors just close the browser tab without waiting for it to fully load.

    Head for tools.pingdom.com and perform a website speed test, this may give you some ideas.

    25% is a pretty low bounce rate, maybe your original site had a bounce rate error, and now you're only seeing the real bounce rate?
