Hello everyone, help me choose a free CMS for a static site. I know how to work with Wordpress and Drupal, but now there is a need to create hundreds of sites/blogs on a cheap VPS so that there is a small load.

I know that there is Hugo, Pelican, but I would like to use something simpler, with a GUI, without a command line. It is desirable that the CMS has support for Windows and Linux. Does such a thing exist? Thank you!

Nobody answered. Found it myself. It will be useful to someone. Pubii, a free static CMS. Now I'm dealing with it. It seems to have everything you need. Guys, if there are other alternatives, please let me know.

google hugo alternative. the top result is a list of 25+ static site generators. everything mentioned henceforth will be in that list. then you have to do the part nobody likes. testing them to see which best suits your capabilities and needs.
personally if you don't need the "blog" functionality of a static site, use a html5/bootstrap template. that's what i do for multiple skinny static html sites on a cheap vps. they already come in hundreds of themes like WP. just swap some assets around, add copywriting, done.
