Closing Off BHW From The World

I personally would not mind paying a small fee ($1-5 monthly maybe) because of what I have gained in being part of BH. But asking for money on the whole nature oh BH is kinda contradictory. To keep the full integrity of the site limitations must come into play. As the member popularity grows so does influx of popularity of good programs quickly being obsolete.

I SAY CLOSE THE DOORS NOW AND REQUEST A SMALL DONATION ONCE A YEAR STARTING AT THE MONTH YOU BECAME A OFFICIAL MEMBER.

lol. So you have dominateim and black hat university which pretty much gets all of its members from here. Now you want to make BHW paid. So you guys pretty much want us to pay for 3 membership sites after all the shit you talk about paid coaching/ebooks. And Im a member of dominateim and it sucks. Lived up to none of it's promises at all. Sorry that's just how I feel.

-add an 'entrance exam' to keep out the clueless.

-add a 'post quality' voting scheme where if enough users vote a members posts as low-quality they get booted.

-invite only

-purge inactive members

I think it should stay open to the public, but with restrictions that need to be thrashed out within the forum, as hard as it was for the guys to get the forum to where it is today, everbody knows that there is very little loyalty in the cyberworld, and by closing it down could be detrimental to the quality of the information provided even by the so called noobs and leechers.

Won't it be illegal to post downloads for other peoples products if the forum will require a monthly fee? It will technically mean that BHW is selling other peoples products for a lower price. It is illegal now but that will raise the alarm to the roof. I know torrent trackers in my country who turned from free to pay and were earning money with their site. Well, they were prosecuted instantly.

I don't think people should pay a monthly fee. Just keep the current members and allow invitations from higher rank members...and I think owners of this forum are rich enough already and don't need to milk last thing they can, then again - I might be doing the same in their place, so go figure.

Keep BHW small and private is my vote.

I think a small fee is reasonable, but should be left open to the public (fresh ideas and methods). This would limit the amount of traffic that is just signing up for the DL section. If the DL is technically not free, they'll look elsewhere; besides, there are plenty of methods posted for anyone who applies them to be able to afford a few bucks a month.

I know this wasn't really one of the choices, but I would vote for the best of both worlds: a semi closed community with continuously fresh ideas.
As the choices stand though; I vote to Shut 'er Down.

i would prefer not to pay a fee, but if that is what it takes to keep this community alive, then , yes i would pay .

limit in accepting new members
open the bhw in accepting members 4x a year

we should close the door, and make it as an invite only forum.

I would suggest a yearly donation of $50 or so.

I'd pay....would prefer not to...but I'd pay to be here. I will go along with whatever the owner and mods think...and I will support the decision...

I think the forum should be private, but I'm sure like many others I don't think there should be a monthly fee. Especially for people like me who been contributing here for over a year but haven't yet reached executive vip status

Maybe a fee for the more advanced parts of the forum though. I'm sure the forum alrady makes fairly good money from donations and buy/sell section, ads as is. Though I don't know about the details.

About a month after I first visited BHW, I made a donation. I felt that with all I was learning that I should contribute. I didn't even know I was going to get anything for it. I actually got into the Jr. VIP section for a little while but the Admins took that perk away...oh well, it was cool while it lasted.

Had BHW been a monthly fee site, I probably would not have even come back for a second visit. Is a fee necessary? Yeah, probably, just to keep the forum cleaner, but I would prefer a small ($25 to $49) yearly fee instead.

Also, let visitors see the home page with all of thread titles, but make the actual discussion pages only available to members. That way, potential members would be able to see all the good at BHW and have a reason to join without getting all of the info free.

I originally said to make it closed and paid, but I would like to change my vote to keep it open.
