I vote for closing the doors for new members, but keep the threats open and move some of the better ones to the Jr.VIP. But I don't think that charging a fee for BHW will be a good solution.

BHW is already too big for people to share the really good stuff (besides maybe selling it) and you will not be able to turn back time to last November. Furthermore, even membership sites such as BHU become to "public".

Well, either make it free for BHU members OR only allow new members via a referral from only certain level members.

I agree with this post. Make it free and allow new members via invitation only. And the invitation is only from member from high level of ranking.

As for the fee, I'm living in the other part of the world where the currency exchange is not in favor to me, probably it's a little bit difficult for me to have a monthly subscription.

I have not voted yet,

I question this, would the new ideas, and methods dry up or florish by peple bringing them in and making them better in a closed forum.

There has been some people bring some good ideas and methods, with low post counts.

and then on the other hand the destroying of a method like AC by many people doing it and outsourcing it. [not saying it is ruined, but seems pay is down] It is definately on their radar.

It is a hard thing to do, and you need to do what is best.

There may be a middle ground with jr.vip being paid, and the main forum noob training ground.

I will send you a pm [just kidding never have]

I say yes to closing the doors to new members but I don't want to have to pay a monthly fee to talk. We also need a wipe of all the inactive new members.

Just for the simple fact new talent won't be recruited.
Yeah, that's right we should keep this in mind.

I think the best would be - 'only allow new members via a referral from only certain level members.'

But remember this also would hamper the BST forum and the sales there as there would be less new people looking for software or books so i assume this section would probably not be as effective. As there is more people the average of sales would be higher and vice versa if you close the forum and make it a paid forum less people would be there to buy. Also we would take a huge hit on member counts as soon as the ones that could not pay would be isolated and lose there membership. As the count goes down also the revunue for other advertising on the forum goes down also... Yahoo publisher etc.

Also once it goes private will be lose the traffic for the search engines??? Will the content be blocked which once again will lower the possibility of new members in volume..

Maybe make it a paid forum for all new members.... I don't know i like the secluded idea or private idea but after i think about it twice it might take what makes it good out of it and go downhill...

close to new member..
lot of affiliate manager and other will smell and know how to . and see the hole

I DEFINITELY dont want BHW to grow into another digitalpoint where members seem are reborn daily and at the same time crushed mercilessly at the hands of the crooked mods.

BHW is and should remain to be a better place to live in -- so with the current member base we should stop further registrations and may be impose a small fee on a monthly basis to keep the community alive.

The information and support we have been getting here, is much much more than the small membership amount to be paid at the end of the month. Lets be proud to be a part of BHW, and lets all contribute to the noble cause of making it ONE better internet marketing forum DIFFERENT from the lot !

Thats purely my opinion subject to my own views :)

This is a great idea. It would be nice to close this site down to new members and I don't mind paying an extra fee to this site since it would contribute to keeping it alive.
And plus if you make nice money then what does a $9 to $19 membership fee matter to you? :)

Close registration and give all Jnr VIP/VIP's 5 invites. Make the whole thing Invite only. New talent WILL be recruited. Less noobs. Also enforce strict rules. No fee though.

Don't make people pay a fee, cause then if information does get leaked it sucks even more than it would without one.. maybe even cause it to get leaked more often.. (people like free things they otherwise have to pay for.. but we all know this already).

Invite only forum would get my vote if it was there. Besides, we've all seen this forum hacked a million times..

Hi there,

This is a good question. I don't have a lot to offer just yet, but I really love the sense of community here.

I think closing it off to new members would be a mistake. The lifeblood of a forum is the new members. I know...some new members do not offer much value. However, other folks really do bring something to the table--just because they are new, doesn't mean they aren't valuable.

To remedy the members who don't offer much, you can require x number of legit posts every month, or you lose your membership.

Anyway, since I really belive we should give back to this community, I am in favor of paying a monthly fee to access all areas of the site.

If you combine a membership fee along with a post requirement, you will end up with a community of folks who really want to be here--and prove it with both their money AND their time.

Just my 2.37 cents, lol.

Making this forum private with a monthly fee will hinder an already great community i suggest making it invite only and make other sections for jr vip only as well. If you make it with a monthly fee there still is nothing stopping snooping affiliate managers or anyone paying x$ monthly.

the problem here with closing with off completely is that it will result in potential genius blackhatters being unable to find what many of us have found on this forum. I do however believe a change in structure is needed I have only been on this forum since July and when I 1st arrived I believed Jr VIP status meant the person was somewhat of a successful blackhater however I've seen newbies go from Jr Vip in the space of a few weeks just through posting on every thread.

Maybe a newbies blackhatworld forum is needed for new registrations and then they can be moved to the main forum once they reach a certain status.

Well, invite only would be totally pointless to me. The only other forums and acquaintances I go to are private forums with memberships sold from here, so I'd have nobody to invite.

I say always have a very general section open to everybody, then either require a certain amount of posts or an invite to get into more private sections like downloads, cookie stuffing, cpa, etc. Perhaps ONLY have a general section opened to everybody.

I most likely wouldn't be here and would still be totally clueless if it costed 1 cent to be here.

$9.00 or $19.00 x 24,000 per-month would certainly make someone a very wealthy individual indeed. :)

WOW, Didnt think about it like that, Yeppers, even if 10k members paid a $9 fee, Someone is sitting pretty.

lol that would be alot of profit but im sure more than half of the people wouldn't pay the fee but that's why i voted to close the doors and pay a small fee so we have a smaller community to share blackhat techniques with.
