Cloaking on Facebook: Is cloaking a SCAM?

What's the point of cloaking on Facebook?

If users report your ads, you are banned - GAME OVER!

How cloaking helps the situation? If user reports ads, fb doesn't even look at the landing page!

Few days back, I saw in my cloaker log that fb moderator was sent to the safe page after my ad got reported by some users - reviewer went to the safe page but still they banned my ad account.

What's the point of cloaking?

Is cloaking a scam? What are your thoughts?

Yes, that's basic cloaking.

But even after cloaking on fb there is still risk of BAN.

So why should we cloak fb? That's the question. It's Facebook specific.

I am wondering if this is a scam created by cloaker owners.

To make their service seem very exclusive, private and then charge people lots of $$$ for nothing.

I don't have much knowledge on this specific topic.

Looking for pros to dive into my thread and offer some valuable insights!

Yeah, he got butt hurt about me calling out his fake screenshots and advice that made no sense.. started commenting on literally every post I made.. It takes psychological issues to get so worked up that you spend hours following someone around online...

Anyway.. I looked into his post history which led me to the same conclusion as you.. Not sure about AntonTretyakov yet but he's dominating the subforum just like Xtreme Ads... So I really wouldn't be surprised

Pretty crazy, I must say!

I've investigated all of them in detail.

Here are my findings:

1. The actor pumps this specific product by posting multiple times to thread and recommending same product over and over and sometimes some other product in the combination too which is too obvious.

No sane product owner would do it, especially when the product already got enough coverage on the BHW.

Few more posts would do no good but repeated praises from same profile would badly affect the product.

2. The actor posts multiple threads about cloaking/techsupport and reveals supposedly the secrets of cloaking world.

3. The actor establishes himself as a cloaking guru.

4. Then haters come up from nowhere. Haters also have fresh new profiles. It's not like they established members are hating on this newly incarnated guru.
Haters are also incarnated by this team who is behind all of this. For example, hater tmoore belongs to the same team.
And then they have clash and they start pissing match. Calling out the product name etc... to defame them. SOLID competitor bantering job.

5. Finally, everything is calm and the whole process is repeated again!

I think this is a competitor's job.

One more thing is that accusing someone without any solid evidence is against the rules of BHW. You are pretty much blasting him and his product by posting such things. You should consider reading BHW rules.

I am not sure if you even care about the answers but here it is from me : Cloaking always doesnt work like you think it does.People are offering value to the customers.Some campaigns are not approved in FB even if you offer them value but cloaking solves this problem and helps them this way.And as per the people reporting , even a ad of cute puppies with no links in them will get banned if enough users report it.This is my opinion on it and i am no pro.

PS : It also helps in keeping the game hack niches accounts alive for a bit more time

So I might have picked the lingo. Happens. Google shows 5,54,00,000 results for this particular search term.

Second, I think it's easy to hide behind an alias and accuse product owners when you might have been hired by competitors to make these dump posts on BHW. Just saying.

If you've problem with any specific product, open shitlist and post proofs of how you were scammed or how the product is ripoff instead of posting false accusations.

I am not accusing you of anything. I've not posted any thread for promoting any product.

I am just bringing light to the topic that it might be a competitor's job to bring these products down: FraudBuster, NoIpFraud.

So real culprit has motives which are not easily visible to.

Clearly, it's working that's why they come up with fake profiles again and again!

I agree with you on this, I think all these guys have serious psychological issues and beef with the product owners.

They are trying to bring down these cloakers for some ulterior motives.

Speculations:

1. They don't want others to be cloaking since they might be making tons of money with cloaking.

2. They have serious beef with the product owners and they pump and dump the product in such manner not to appear suspicious.

3. They've some other motive which is not visible to us.

Multiple spam posts from same member are damaging to their reputation.

That's why I feel it's a competitor job

Posts made by Ralph and Xtreme Ads are too obvious which makes me believe that they want us to think in the particular way so that we are never able to come to the real conclusion.

I think you are competitor since you behave in the same way.

In theory, I can hire people like you to spam competitor's product then call them out from other fake profiles for spamming.
This damages a product's reputation but the spammers don't lose much. It works wonder like Negative SEO. I hope my point is clear.

My point is simple that "FraudBuster" has enough coverage, why they need to spam? It's a competitor job to pump and dump them.

Ralph or Xtreme Ads have not scammed anyone but they've only pumped and dumped "FraudBuster".

Not sure you why you are trying to complicate it but here it is again:

1. Get fake people with few profiles to pump a product. Write praises of how a product benefits them.

2. Do it often from 1-2 profiles and write multiple spam posts in the same way. Make it look too obvious that they are spamming.

3. Call them out from other 2-3 newly create a fake profile.

4. Keep calling them out and posting negative messages.

You can see how easy it is. Negative SEO works in a similar way, you make bad links for people to penalise them. It's a similar technique.


The method is not bad.

But the spammers have nothing to lose.

Product owners and other people associated with the product lose.

It's fine everyone can have a different preference. You can use whichever product you like but don't accuse others.

That said, if you've a problem with a product write open a shitlist and post proof of how your were scammed or ripoff.

You should stop, it's too obvious you hacked into their private forum now you are defaming their product.

You don't have any product but you are actively engaged in bringing them down from time to time.

This is my theory, it's different than what you've.
